The Smashing Pumpkins brings their ‘Rock Invasion 2025‘ Asia tour to India

Adding to India's packed concert schedule in the second half of the year, Iconic alternative rock group The Smashing Pumpkins will bring their 'Rock Invasion 2025' Asia Tour to Bengaluru and Mumbai in October. This will be the group's first time performing in India. The Bengaluru concert will be at Transform Arena in Bangalore on October 11 and in Mumbai at the Jio World Garden on October 12. 'We're thrilled to be finally coming to India, some 36 years after we started in Chicago. Our music has been unmistakably shaped by this great and mighty culture, and so it will be an hour to play for you: and loudly! For what we hope will be the first of many, many trips to come,' the rock group says. Hailed as one of the most influential alt rock bands, The Smashing Pumpkins formed in Chicago in 1988 and have since released 13 studio albums. Their three decade career has seen several hits such as 'Tonight, Tonight', 'Bullet With Butterfly Wings', 'Today' and '1979', and the group has also won two Grammy awards. Renowned for their guitar work and haunting lyrics, the group will begin their Asia tour in Japan in September 2025, with stops in Thailand, South Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi. Deepak Chaudhary, Founder and Managing Director, EVA Live live entertainment said that it is a landmark achievement for the live music ecosystem in the country to bring The Smashing Pumpkins to India for the very first time Registrations are live on the District App and tickets for the pre-sale will be available to Mastercard cardholders in two phases. The first phase will begin from 12 pm on August 5 to 12 pm on August 7 on . The second phase will start from August 7 to August 12 on the District App. Following the pre-sale, general ticket sales will begin on August 12 at 4.30pm

Popular playback singer Shreya Ghoshal has officially announced the revised date for her much-awaited Mumbai concert, part of her ongoing All Hearts Tour. The concert, which was originally scheduled for May 10, 2025, will now be held on May 24 at Jio World Garden. Known for her versatility across languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, and Marathi, Ghoshal has carved a special place in Indian music. She recently served as a judge on Indian Idol, alongside rapper Badshah and music director Vishal Dadlani. Due to the ongoing India-Pakistan conflict, several Indian singers have cancelled or postponed their concerts out of respect and in solidarity with the country's current situation. Artists from the entertainment industry have been making thoughtful decisions.
