Grey's Anatomy's Hot New Doc: Did Your First Impression Leave You Wanting Seconds?
Before the Season 21 finale of Grey's Anatomy revealed that Trevor Jackson had been cast as a new surgical intern, his character was already playing doctor with Simone. Are we happy about that?
No of us can say that the grown-ish vet didn't make a memorable first impression. In Season 21's penultimate episode, his on-screen counterpart ran into Simone at Joe's Bar right after her break-up with Lucas. Noting that she was dressed up — she'd been going to Jo and Link's wedding — the newbie remarked that he'd been told that Seattle was a jeans-and-T-shirt kinda town. When she explained that she'd had other plans, he replied, 'Then I'm sorry, but I'm not.'

We were charmed. But was she? 'You're doing the most right now,' Simone cracked.
'I don't think you hate it,' he replied, flashing a $1M smile. (See above.) Right he was, too, because the next thing we knew, the two of them were getting hot and also heavy. Not until Lucas had apologized to Simone and assured her that they could work through their issues did she — or we — spot Jackson among Grey Sloan's new crop of first-years.
'At least you know I'm good,' he joked.
As far as we can see, it's so far, so good for Jackson's as-yet-unnamed character. The actor has charm to spare, chemistry with leading lady Alexis Floyd and has given his alter ego a cocksure swagger that neatly straddles the line between confident and obnoxious. What's your take?
