Affected by Trump's decision to bar international students from enrolling at Harvard? Share your thoughts with The Globe
On Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump's administration revoked Harvard University's ability to enroll foreign students. Harvard's foreign students must now transfer schools or lose their legal status. However, on May 23, a U.S. judge blocked the Trump administration's decision while it hears a lawsuit filed by Harvard, who claims the move violates the First Amendment. If the decision stands, it would have an impact on more than 5,000 foreign students from over 100 countries who attend Harvard. One university website found that approximately 500 to 800 Canadians are part of the student body at Harvard in a given year. The Globe wants to hear from you about how the Trump Administration's decision on international students could affect you or someone you know. Are you an international student at a U.S. college or university? A concerned parent planning their child's future education? Is this making you reconsider pursuing postsecondary education in the U.S.? Share your experience in the form below or send us an e-mail at audience@ for potential inclusion in a future article.
