This much-anticipated annual comedy series promises a month-long, laugh-a-minute takeover featuring sharp satire, cultural commentary, and the best of Mzansi's comedy talent. Comedy lovers can look forward to performances by Trevor Gumbi, Ntosh Madlingozi, Darren Maule, Mpho Popps, Joey Rasdien, Hannes Brummer, Jaxx Justice, Riaad Moosa, Richelieu Beaunoir, Keenan Cerff and many more. The line-up: • July 5 – Generations Trade your soapies for laughter as this unfiltered show features a cross-generational clash of comedy icons Trevor Gumbi, Ntosh Madlingozi, Modipane A-Lister and Zicco Sithole. • July 11 – Stand Up Joburg Darren Maule returns to Joburg for one night only, reuniting with Chris Forrest, Mpho Popps and Robbie Collins for a Joburg-style comedy affair. • July 12 – Staan Op Joburg Dis snaaks, dis slim, dis lokal! Join Hannes Brummer, Jaxx Justice, Cobus van Rensburg and Melt Sieberhagen for a night of side-splitting Afrikaans comedy exploring life, love, politics and culture. Joey Rasdien will perform at Joburg's Kings and Queens of Comedy. Comedy Some of the nation's top comedic talents take to the stage at the 13th Kings and Queens of Comedy. Original performers such as Darren 'Wackhead' Simpson, Chris Forrest, Joey Rasdien and Angel Campey will perform alongside fellow comedy heavyweights. Expect both seasoned performers and rising stars. Where: Saturday, March 12, from 8pm. When: Emperors Palace in Kempton 'Worlds Away: A Journey to Circusland' This family-friendly spectacle wil put the spotlight sets on a captivating tale of love and friendship with some of the other stories showcased including a tale of a brave little star on a daring quest through enchanted lands, stormy seas and fiery fortresses as he searches for what makes him truly unique.
