Rugby club in Wellington unveils new electronic scoreboard
The scoreboard was partially funded by a £1,000 donation from Summerfield (Image: Summerfield) A Somerset rugby club has unveiled a new electronic scoreboard. Wellington Rugby Club installed the scoreboard at its Corams Lane ground as part of its 150th anniversary celebrations. The scoreboard is one of a number of upgrades at the club, including the refurbishment of the clubhouse. Advertisement It was partly paid for by a £1,000 donation from Summerfield, a long-standing partner of the club. Ed Khodabandehloo, managing director of Summerfield Homes, said: "It is great to see the new scoreboard up and running. "We are proud to support Wellington Rugby Club and look forward to seeing some impressive scores lit up next season." John Dunbar, former club chairman and current sponsorship lead, said: "The club is extremely grateful to Summerfield for their continued support. "The new scoreboard is a fantastic addition to the ground for both the players and spectators."

But … leaplings do something unique: They can calculate their age in in Leap Day years. Since Leap Year occurs once every four years — 2020, 2024 and 2028 is the next one, for example — this "Leap Day math" applies to people born Feb. 29. Those born on that day don't always get to celebrate their actual birthday — since that date occurs only every four years. But not to worry, someone born on Leap Day still gets to celebrate a birthday (see below). For example, John Dunbar, executive editor of The Daytona Beach News-Journal, gets it: On Feb. 29, 2024, he turned '15, so I am still not old enough to drive,' he joked. 'People always ask me what day do I celebrate my birthday on. When I was a kid, it was (February) the 28th because I wanted my birthday present. When I grew up I switched to March 1 because it seemed more honest." Ramirez was convicted of killing 13 people around Los Angeles and San Francisco, California, in 1984 and 1985 and sentenced to death.
