One hospitalized in Central City New Orleans shooting
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A person has been hospitalized following a shooting which happened in the Central City area of New Orleans on Wednesday, May 14. According to the New Orleans Police Department, the shooting, which occurred at the intersection of South Galvez Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, was reported around 8:10 p.m. with confirmation around 8:35 p.m. Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office warns of phone scam One victim had reportedly been shot at least once and was then taken to a local hospital by EMS. New partnership to support Clarion Herald
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New information has been released discussing the future of the Clarion Herald. The Archdiocese of New Orleans has announced a partnership to allow the Herald to continue publication. Dedication ceremony held for Chalmette Slip Rehabilitation Project Starting July 1, a private communications group will take over the Herald's printing and advertising while the Archdiocese will focus on a digital version.
