In 2024, CCC introduced the CCC Intelligent Experience (IX) Cloud™ with event-driven architecture that overlays onto CCC's existing cloud applications, customer workflows and customer and partner systems. The CCC IX Cloud infuses the latest AI into workflows and provides insights into business events to help insurers, repairers, OEMs and other industry partners do their best work when others need them most. "As we continue to evolve our platform, AI plays an increasingly central role in how we help customers drive better outcomes at scale," said Goodson. "Participating in the Alliance allows us to align that innovation with best practices, while staying focused on the industries we know best." CCC to integrate EvolutionIQ AI tech into auto casualty suite

CCC Intelligent Solutions has unveiled plans to expedite the integration of EvolutionIQ's AI technology into its auto casualty claims offerings. The aim is to enhance claims processing capabilities with AI-based analysis and recommendations. This announcement follows CCC's acquisition of EvolutionIQ, which was finalised in January this year. Medhub for Casualty will be the first in a series of upcoming offerings to utilise EvolutionIQ's claims guidance throughout the auto casualty claims life cycle. In collaboration with CCC Injury Evaluation Solutions, the solution aims to provide casualty adjusters with medical insights to facilitate claims decisions. Medhub for Casualty's capabilities include the automatic extraction and synthesis of essential medical insights from extensive medical records. This function aids adjusters in the review and application of medical documentation to evaluate claims and devise optimal strategies. Furthermore, it simplifies the handling of medical documentation by offering detailed search, filtering and parsing capabilities. This enables users to identify details such as provider notes, appointments, diagnoses, treatments and prescriptions for optimal claim resolutions. Medhub for Casualty is due to be released in the third quarter of 2025. CCC anticipates introducing more AI-based claims guidance products that address various challenges within the auto casualty claims life cycle in future quarters. CCC chief product and technology officer John Goodson said: 'EvolutionIQ has pioneered AI-powered medical record synthesis, moving the role of AI beyond simple summarisation to surface-critical insights that are most important for claims teams to focus and act on. 'The opportunity to bring EvolutionIQ's capabilities to our casualty customers was a key rationale for our acquisition, and we are excited that faster than anticipated progress in this area will enable us to launch solutions this year and deliver smoother and more intelligent experiences for everyone involved.' EvolutionIQ vice-president of product Matt Gillespie stated: 'We developed the Medhub platform for claims professionals to quickly understand the key insights and most actionable information, ensuring every claim is handled with precision. 'With Medhub, our customers in other lines of insurance report more efficient review processes, more accurate summarisation and better targeted use of specialists on claims. We can't wait to bring similar benefits to auto casualty.' CCC Intelligent Solutions to Expand Third-Party Auto Casualty Offering with EvolutionIQ's Market-Leading AI Synthesis and Claims Guidance

Next-generation CCC products are designed to transform auto casualty claim management by helping teams make better, more accurate decisions and resolve claims faster CHICAGO, April 30, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. ("CCC"), a leading cloud platform provider powering the insurance economy, announced today its plans to accelerate the inclusion of EvolutionIQ's proven, high-impact AI into CCC's auto casualty portfolio. This next generation of solutions is being designed to provide AI-powered synthesis and best next action recommendations to enhance carriers' ability to consistently manage increasingly complex injury claims and achieve better outcomes. Medhub for Casualty will be the first available product of many planned innovations leveraging EvolutionIQ's claims guidance across the auto casualty claims life cycle. Medhub for Casualty adapts EvolutionIQ's leading AI-based medical synthesis and insights technologies to the specific needs of auto casualty claims teams tasked with handling complex demand packages. Working in concert with CCC Injury Evaluation Solutions, Medhub will offer casualty adjusters a thorough view of key medical insights to inform faster, more accurate claims decisions, with a particular emphasis on workflows supporting the evaluation of demand packages. Medhub is designed to keep claims professionals in full control, with all AI-generated insights containing direct citations to primary sources, offering industry-leading traceability and auditability. "Making sense of medical documentation is extremely complex," said John Goodson, chief product and technology officer for CCC. "Claims professionals manage hundreds of claims simultaneously, each including hundreds or even thousands of pages of information with continuous updates. EvolutionIQ has pioneered AI-powered medical record synthesis, moving the role of AI beyond simple summarization to surface critical insights that are most important for claims teams to focus and act on. The opportunity to bring EvolutionIQ's capabilities to our casualty customers was a key rationale for our acquisition, and we're excited that faster than anticipated progress in this area will enable us to launch solutions this year and deliver smoother and more intelligent experiences for everyone involved." Matt Gillespie, vice president of product for EvolutionIQ added, "We developed the Medhub platform for claims professionals to quickly understand the key insights and most actionable information, ensuring every claim is handled with precision. Basic AI summarization tools fall short because they lack the claim-level nuance, specificity and actionable insights that are tailored to the line of business. With Medhub, our customers in other lines of insurance report more efficient review processes, more accurate summarization and better targeted use of specialists on claims. We can't wait to bring similar benefits to auto casualty." Key features and benefits of Medhub for Casualty will include: Efficient Medical Review for Demand Packages: Automatically extracts and synthesizes critical medical insights from extensive medical records. Helps adjusters quickly review, verify, and apply essential medical documentation to accurately assess claims and determine the optimal strategy. Actionable Insights for Auto Casualty: Designed specifically for auto casualty adjusters, emphasizing relevant information critical to high-quality claim reviews. Supports adjusters in making precise and timely decisions under significant time constraints. Advanced Tools for Navigating Complex Documents: Designed to simplify management of extensive medical documentation by allowing detailed searches, filtering, and parsing. Medhub will enable users to pinpoint crucial details such as provider notes, appointments, diagnoses, treatments and prescriptions, facilitating informed and optimal claim decisions. Medhub for Casualty is expected to launch Q3 2025, with additional AI-based claims guidance products targeting other challenges across the auto casualty claims life cycle coming to market in later quarters. A beloved café has been at this shopping centre for 26-years, now people are devastated

A popular café at Bridgend's McArthur Glen shopping centre is set to shut at the end of February. Caffe Sidoli's has been a staple of the outlet shopping centre in Bridgend since it first opened more than 26 years ago and is extremely popular with customers. Caffe Sidoli's will be closing on Sunday, February 23, and it has not yet been confirmed what will replace it. Both staff and customers have been left devastated by the news and disappointed customers have set up a petition to try and save the much-loved independent café. John Goodson and his wife are loyal customers and visit the café multiple times a week. He said: "My wife and I go there twice a week for coffee and a toasted teacake and have done so for 20 years. It is always busy with customers of all ages, many sitting outside whilst their children or grandchildren are in the adjacent playpark." Claire Louise is the manager of Caffe Sidoli's and has worked there for almost 26 years. She said: "We are right next to the play area and a lot of people come here just for this reason – to have a coffee, something to eat, and watch their kids play in the park. "A lot of elderly people also come and it's a social thing for them. We have a chat with them and that is their social activity for the week. I'm just absolutely devastated. We're such a lovely team – we all work so well together and bring a nice atmosphere to the place. We are part of the furniture." Rebecca Jones signed the petition and wrote: "So sad that a decision has been made to close this lovely café. The effect of this café's closure on the regular customers will be massive." Claudia Scicluna said: "Sidoli's is the best place at McArthur Glen to have decent food, coffee, cakes and chat with family and friends. Without Sidoli there will only be chains such as Costa, Starbucks or Greggs. Very disappointing. I've enjoyed meeting at Sidoli's with my children, my mum, and now my granddaughter. Sidoli's will be missed terribly." A spokesman for McArthur Glen declined to comment.
