Dire Straits' John Illsley will be at Savoy Theatre Monmouth
The iconic Dire Straits bass player will bring his show, "John Illsley: The Life and Times of Dire Straits," to the stage on October 25.
Mr Illsley, a founding member of the legendary band, played a key part in the band's global success, selling more than 120 million albums worldwide.
The show will feature the 40th-anniversary celebration of the band's groundbreaking 1985 album, Brothers in Arms, known for classics like Money for Nothing and Walk of Life.
Audiences can expect an intimate evening of music and conversation, with Mr Illsley sharing stories from the band's rise to fame.
He will be joined on stage by friend and former Dire Straits co-manager, Paul Cummins, in a relaxed Q&A format.
The night will also include live performances of Dire Straits classics and Mr Illsley's solo work.
