Two shot in ‘targeted attack' in Wakefield, police say
Police did not have an update on the medical status of the two victims early Wednesday. Wakefield and State Police deployed K-9 dogs during their search for evidence Tuesday and also investigated the area around a Cumberland Farms store on Lowell Street, police wrote. These 9 New England universities among those warned by Trump administration over antisemitism on campus
In the letter sent to the 60 universities, the administration said it was acting under the 1964 landmark Civil Rights Act to protect the rights of Jewish students. Person fatally struck by Amtrak train near Providence, causing delays on MBTA commuter rail
'All trains that operate to/from Wickford Junction will be terminating/originating at Providence temporarily,' Keolis said. 'Bus service between Providence and Wickford Junction will accommodate any affected passengers.' About 80 passengers were on Train 810 from Wickford when 'police activity' between TF Green Airport and Providence disrupted service. An extra train set was deployed for the passengers, Keolis said. From here, a walkway curves to the left up to the home's covered entrance. The ranch-style home sits on nearly a quarter acre next to Framingham High School. The Shaker-style cabinets are maple, the counters are a sandy-colored granite, and the appliances are stainless steel. The same hardwood flooring found in the living room runs through this space, while recessed lights dot the ceiling. The white-painted brick of the fireplace is a nice touch. From the kitchen, French doors swing open into the 176-square-foot family room. The space offers carpeting, two windows, and doors to the backyard and the garage.
