John Wick 5: Ana de Armas on if She'll Return After Ballerina
While fans are eagerly waiting for the arrival of Ana de Armas' Ballerina, the actress has already shed light on her potential return to the franchise in John Wick 5. While Keanu Reeves, who has portrayed the legendary hitman for over a decade now, will be making an appearance in the franchise's first spin-off film, fans have wondered if Ana de Armas will return the favor in the confirmed John Wick 5. During her recent appearance at a recreated Continental hotel lobby at the John Wick Experience in Las Vegas, The Direct's Russ Milheim questioned Ana de Armas about the possibility of featuring in the upcoming installment in the John Wick film series. The actress expressed enthusiasm for the proposition but shied away from providing any confirmation. 'That would be really cool. I would love that. Why not? I mean, they already know each other, right? Like, why wouldn't it? I would love that. That would be amazing.' Taking place between the events of Parabellum and John Wick 4, the upcoming Ballerina will see Ana de Armas' Eve Macarro embark on a perilous journey to avenge her father's untimely death. The final trailer for the film also saw her character face off against Keanu Reeves' deadly assassin. It is currently unknown whether Ana de Armas' character will survive her encounter with John Wick. Additionally, with Reeves' hitman seemingly meeting his end in John Wick 4, fans are curious to know how the creators will enforce his return in John Wick 5, while hopefully adding Ana de Armas to the film's cast. At the time of writing, John Wick 5 does not have a release date window. As fans wait for more updates on the movie's premiere schedule, they can see Reeves' Wick in action in Ballerina, which hits theaters on June 6, 2025. Final Trailer For BALLERINA Showcases Lots of Brutal Action — GeekTyrant
Lionsgate has released the final trailer for the highly-anticipated John Wick spinoff film, Ballerina , and it showcases lots of awesome and savage action! As Ana de Armas' character, Eve, embarks on a mission of vengeance she is fueled with fire and blood and nothing will stop her for getting what she wants. As you'll see, she will kill anyone that gets in her way. Except for John Wick himself. The movie is set between John Wick 3 and John Wick 4 , and the story focuses on a young female assassin named Eve Macarro, who seeks revenge against the people who killed her family. There are some pretty kickass action sequences teased in this trailer and it looks likeEve's weapon of choice is going to be a flamthrower. But, I'm excited to see her face off with Wick! When talking about the film, Armas said: 'I'm very proud of it. It's really exciting. It's dangerous, it's sexy, it's very John Wick. I think people are going to be surprised. I'm biased. Of course, I like the movie, but I think it's really cool. It's going to be amazing." The movie was directed by Len Wiseman, and franchise director and producerChad Stahelski was brought in later for some reshoots, and to add some more insane action. The spinoff is scheduled to open in theaters on June 6th.

The John Wick universe is one that's very ripe for spinoff exploration. And that's exactly what we are getting with the spinoff prequel film Ballerina as well as a sequel film about Caine. It's pretty easy to see why Caine is getting his own film. We met this blind High Table assassin in John Wick 4 who takes on his former friend to keep his daughter safe. At the end of the film, Caine and his daughter are free from the High Table, however, a post-credits scene shows Akira coming for him. Right now, the film is using the working title Caine. That could change as it gets closer to completion and release. We know that Caine will have to face Akira, the daughter of Koji whom Caine killed during a major fight at the Osaka Continental. He did spare Akira's life but she's hellbent on revenge and could possibly try to harm his daughter. We may also discover more about his life while moving his story forward. Variety reports that the Caine spinoff film will be a 'Hong Kong-style action thriller.' Donnie Yen will both star in, executive produce, and direct the John Wick spinoff Caine film. It will be produced by Basil Iwanyk, Chad Stahelski, and Erica Lee, all of whom worked on the franchise's previous installments. The writer is The Batman – Part II's Mattson Tomlin. The film is set to start production soon, perhaps over the summer of 2025. Of course, Donnie Yen will portray Caine. We can assume that Aimée Kwan will also return as Caine's daughter Mia. Rina Sawayama will reprise her role as the sword-wielding Akira as an antagonist. 'John Wick: Chapter 4 introduced us to so many compelling, original characters, including Akira. We're beyond thrilled to have Rina coming back to the franchise—Caine and Akira have unfinished business, and this next chapter in their stories will be explosive,' said Adam Fogelson, chair of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group. We will have to see what new characters we meet and if any others from the franchise will return. There is currently no release date for Caine.

Keanu Reeves Throws Cold Water on 'John Wick 5' With 2-Word Answer
Will the amazing assassin John Wick return to the explosive world of Gun fun? According to the man himself, nobody should be holding their breath for a fifth John Wick. And that's because Wick, the character, is most certainly dead. "You know, the character's dead. He died in John Wick: Chapter 4," Reeves said, according to a report from ExtraTV. "I know, in Hollywood, you can [revive dead characters]. I know, I know, it's the Hollywood story. Right now, there aren't [any plans]."Reeves was speaking about his new docuseries Visionaries, which focuses on various inventors, and focuses a great deal on motorcycles. Though Reeves recently told IGN "This is not a motorcycle show." Reeves, as John Wick, will appear in the flesh in the upcoming spinoff movie, Ballerina, which stars Ana de Armas in the titular role as a Wick-esque assassin. Presumably, the meeting between Wick and Eve (de Armas) will take place before the events of John Wick 4.
