Aer Lingus to launch new route to Cancun from Glasgow and Edinburgh

The flights will go via Dublin, the first time this route has been operated by the airline. The new route will operate 3 times weekly on the airline's A330-300 aircraft, offering UK and Irish holidaymakers a seamless route to the warmth and vibrant cultural heritage of the Mexican Caribbean. Glasgow and Edinburgh are two 9 UK airports which will be operating the route, which will also run from 6 January to 29 April 2026 from Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, London Heathrow, Manchester, and Southampton airports.
