Mets Prospects Highlights Nolan McLean, Jonah Tong
Two of the Mets top pitching prospects were on the mound Thursday night and they did not disappoint. Nolan McLean pitched into the eighth inning for the first time in his pro career, striking out six and getting the win for Triple-A Syracuse. Jonah Tong also struck out six batters, allowing just three hits and did not walk a hitter in Double-A Binghamton's victory over Reading.

Mets top prospects Jonah Tong and Carson Benge share their Futures Game experience
SNY's Michelle Margaux catches up with top Mets pitching prospect Jonah Tong and outfielder Carson Benge after they participated in the Futures Game on Saturday. Benge flew out in his only plate appearance while Tong pitched a scoreless inning with a strikeout. Both talked about playing in front a large crowd and what a "cool experience' it was. As for when they hope make their way to the big league club, they're mainly focused on improving each day so they'll be ready when the opportunity presents itself.
