Investing in education
His Excellency Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, has approved several decisions for licensing, expansion, and adding new stages to the services of a number of private educational institutions, as part of the ministry's support for private sector investment in education.
The approved decisions include licensing the establishment of 'Jood Kindergarten'; licensing the addition of Year 7 to Palms School, allowing it to accept more students; licensing the addition of the intermediate stage to Delmon Private School, allowing it to accept more students; and licensing the addition of the secondary stage to New Generation Private School, allowing it to accept more students.
Dr. Juma emphasised that expanding the establishment of educational institutions in both the public and private sectors is key to providing high-quality national education and offering suitable options for students and parents.
He added that the ministry will continue to regulate and support private education in line with approved policy, which focuses on providing good education and promoting Bahraini identity through national values, especially religion, customs, traditions, and established norms.
