7 elegant Queen Rania looks from 2025
Fashion by Aminath Sirajudeen 2 hours ago Queen Rania of Jordan continues to lead not just through diplomacy, but through a deeply intentional approach to style. Her 2025 wardrobe speaks volumes. It elevates modest fashion while honouring culture, craftsmanship, and meaning. From championing regional labels like Lebanese brand Sarah's Bag to wearing global powerhouses like Bottega Veneta, Oscar de la Renta, and Erdem, the Queen effortlessly balances heritage with high fashion. Each look is a masterclass in elegance, often chosen to reflect the significance of the moment – from Ramadan iftars to historic diplomatic meetings. Here, we spotlight seven standout ensembles from 2025 that prove why Queen Rania remains the undisputed icon of refined royal style. Tea Rose Sophistication For the World Summit on Children's Rights at the Vatican on February 3, Queen Rania chose an Oscar de la Renta midi dress in a soft tea rose hue. The wool-blend silhouette featured delicate guipure lace-trimmed sleeves and subtle cutouts. With minimal jewellery and Dior pointed-toe pumps, the look radiated quiet dignity befitting the occasion. Earth-Toned Power Dressing The next day in Rome, Queen Rania visited the Jordan: Dawn of Christianity exhibition in Max Mara. Her ensemble featured the Rosa tea turtleneck paired with a voluminous pleated maxiskirt in rich brown. Yellow Aquazzura pumps and a Moynat mini bag added contrast, while bold brows and a glossy lip completed the look. Draped in Grace For a family iftar welcoming Ramadan on March 3, the Queen wore Bottega Veneta's Crepe Viscose Jersey Dress in Clove. With pleated detailing and a gold statement buckle, the piece offered soft structure. Smokey eye makeup and relaxed curls gave the ensemble effortless evening allure. Mustard Minimalism While hosting an Iftar in Madaba, Queen Rania embraced modern modesty in a mustard yellow kaftan by Thebe Magugu—complete with subtle quilted detailing we couldn't take our eyes off. She paired the look with a crisp white Bottega Veneta clutch and silver pumps, striking the perfect balance between contemporary elegance and cultural reverence. Cultural Couture At an Iftar banquet at Al Husseiniya Palace, Queen Rania championed Arab design in a Sarah's Bag look featuring a pearl-embellished abaya layered over a tribal-print Vanda Maxi Dress. Styled with a Balmain x H&M belt, Jennifer Chamandi pumps, and a camel-toned Nodie's bag, the look was richly textured and distinctly regal. Understated Chic In a recent appearance, Her Majesty stepped out in a brick-red Cefinn Studio maxi dress. Accented with a navy Lilian Afshar clutch and blue suede Gianvito Rossi heels, the ensemble married rich tones with sleek tailoring, offering a lesson in refined daywear. Monochrome Majesty While visiting the historic Villa Doria Pamphili to meet Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Queen Rania embraced the season's standout hue with head-to-toe burgundy. She wore a refined midi dress by London-based fashion house Erdem, featuring a draped silhouette cinched with a slim belt for subtle structure. Elevating the look, she carried a Louis Vuitton GO-14 PM bag in bordeaux from the FW24 collection, paired with vintage patent Mary Jane pumps by Bottega Veneta and sunglasses from the Oliver Peoples x Khaite collaboration. Tourism Minister: A Promising Start for the Sector in 2025 and Ongoing Success for 'Our Jordan is Paradise'
During her appearance on the 'Good Morning' program on Jordanian television yesterday, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities confirmed that the beginning of 2025 has seen positive and promising indicators in the tourism sector. Visitor numbers increased by nearly 13%, while tourism income rose by about 16% by the end of February, reaching nearly 910 million dinars, with expectations of an additional increase estimated at 300 million dinars by March. اضافة اعلان She added that the success of the tourism sector in the kingdom is the result of collaborative work between the Ministry, the Jordan Tourism Board, the Department of Antiquities, the private sector, and the local community, emphasizing that the Jordanian citizen is a key partner in supporting, promoting, and preserving tourism. Anab highlighted the importance of local experiences in enhancing the Jordanian tourism product, praising the role of local communities in creating a unique human experience that leaves a deep impact on visitors. Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Lina Anab described the 'Our Jordan is Paradise' program as one of the Ministry's most prominent initiatives in supporting domestic tourism. The program has surpassed one million participants over the past years, with 311,000 participants in 2024 alone, contributing to the economic boost in the governorates and tourist sites affected by the decline in visitor numbers. She stressed that the development of the tourism product goes beyond the restoration of sites to include improvements in logistical services, such as health facilities and access methods, including enhancing accessible tourism for people with disabilities. She emphasized that everyone has the right to enjoy tourist sites. Additionally, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities highlighted the importance of listing Jordanian sites, such as Umm Jimal and Salt, on the UNESCO World Heritage list, which enhances Jordan's international standing and encourages the distribution of visitors to various tourist sites across the kingdom. Minister Lina Anab also pointed to the notable success of the 'Jordan: Dawn of Christianity' exhibition, held between January and March, which was under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II and was visited by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah. The exhibition achieved a broad response, surpassing 10 million visits to the website and attracting about 12,000 actual visitors. She announced that the Ministry plans to turn the exhibition into a mobile version to be showcased at several local and international venues, reaffirming Jordan's position in religious tourism and cultural diversity.

Her Majesty and the Italian First Lady toured the exhibition, which features 90 artifacts from over 30 different archeological sites in Jordan, aiming to highlight the country's historical significance to Christianity. Inviting visitors from across Italy and Europe to visit Jordan, the Queen stressed the country's exceptional cultural wealth and its thriving Christian community, which is one of oldest in the world. 'Jordan is the land of hospitality – anyone who has visited us will attest to the warmth and graciousness of its people. But Jordan is also steeped in history. Everywhere you turn, there are echoes of the ancient civilizations that once called our land home,' Queen Rania said. 'With such a remarkable blend of cultures and traditions, our country truly has something for everyone. Jordan is an experience you won't want to miss,' she added. State Secretary of the Holy See, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Grand Chancellor of the Order of Malta, Ricardo Paternò di Montecupo, President of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See, Monsignor Giordano Piccinotti, Ambassador of Jordan to Italy, Kais Abu Dayyeh, and Ambassador of Jordan to the French Republic and the Holy See, Leena Al Hadid, welcomed Her Majesty and the Italian First Lady to the exhibition, which commemorates 30 years of diplomatic ties between Jordan and the Holy See. The different displays trace the evolution of Christianity in Jordan across a number of time periods, beginning with the baptism of Christ through the Byzantine and Islamic Empires, and leading into the present Hashemite era. The exhibition also features artifacts from five pilgrimage sites in Jordan, including Mount Nebo, the memorial of Prophet Moses; Tel Mar Elias, the birthplace of Prophet Elijah; Our Lady of the Mountain Church, a shrine commemorating Mother Mary; Machaerus, the site of John the Baptist's martyrdom; and the Baptism Site of Jesus Christ. Coinciding with the Vatican's Holy Jubilee Year under the theme 'Pilgrims of Hope' and featuring archeological items never before displayed outside of Jordan, the exhibition aims to serve as an open invitation for the world to explore Jordan's spiritual and cultural treasures and its rich biblical landscape.
