EXCLUSIVE Terrifying moment Rizzle Kicks' Jordan Stephen is blackmailed on the phone with nude photo leak - before extorter gets dose of instant karma

Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephen is left lost for words after being blackmailed on the phone after sending a nude picture in an upcoming Channel 4 documentary about sextortion. The 33 year old, who is one half of the pop duo alongside Harley Alexander-Sule, 33, is set to star in Hunting My Sextortion Scammer: UNTOLD on Wednesday (16 July). 4OD's synopsis reads: 'Jordan Stephens gets himself sextorted, to expose the tactics criminals use to sexually blackmail young British men and boys. 'He tracks down his blackmailer and attempts to confront them.' '"Sextortion" is a type of online blackmail. It's when criminals threaten to share sexual pictures, videos, or information about you unless you pay money or do something else you don't want to,' according to the Metropolitan Police. In an exclusive clip obtained by MailOnline, the music star tries to keep his cool as he has a calm conversation with his scammer on the phone via Instagram. Jordan tells viewers: 'It sounds like my sextorter is getting more and more wound up,' as the camera zooms in on their conversation on the social media app. The scammer messages him: 'Show me your account now,' to which Jordan replies: 'No I've already paid.' The sextorter tells Jordan: 'No, is not working bro' alongside three with angry face emojis. Moments later the singer gets a call and answers with: 'Hello.' The scammer replies: 'Let tell you something now. I swear down with my life if you don't even try to understand me, I swear down I'll destroy your life. 'It's better you get me $200 now.' Jordan replies: 'I gave it to you! I gave it to you!' He then tells viewers: 'I need my sextorter to believe he'll get his money if he clicks on that share location link on our fake gift card site.' The scammer says: 'I don't know how to redeem it.' He continues: 'Do you want me to destroy your life?' Jordan tells him in a panic: 'I don't have any more money. 'You put the code in.' 'It's not working, I swear down,' the fraudster says. 'I've done it several times. It's not working. 'You should redeem the card at your place and then send me $200 back. 'Then I free you!' The scammer then puts the phone down. During the documentary, Jordan ends up travelling to Nigeria to track down those who are taking part in sextortion. The scammer lives to regret his actions after being confronted on camera and forced to reckon with what he has done. Jordan shot to fame in the early 2000s as part of the Rizzle Kicks, who were active between 2008 and 2016 - and fans were over the moon when they reunited last year. Some of their best known songs include Skip to the Good Bits, Mama Do the Hump, Lost Generation, When I Was a Youngster, Tell Her and Traveller's Chant. The star is also dating Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall, 32.

Jade Thirlwall's boyfriend Jordan Stephens in 'scary' sextortion blackmail scam

Victims of sextortion are blackmailed by criminals who threaten to post sexual images or videos of their victim unless they pay up - here's how Jordan was targeted Rizzle Kicks singer Jordan Stephens has been blackmailed by scammers over nude photos. The hip hop star, who is dating Jade Thirlwall, was targeted after he set up an elaborate sting to expose the criminals pushing British teens to suicide. In Britain, sextortion is destroying young men's lives and has been directly linked to the suicide of four teenagers. The crime sees scammers strike up an online relationship with their target before asking them to send nude photos. Once the scammer has the nude pics, the blackmail begins. 'In 2023, there were an average of 22 reports of sextortion a day,' says Jordan, 33. 'Sextortion is now the most common form of internet image abuse in Britain.' Sextortion scammers rely on their victims paying up to avoid the shame of their private photographs being circulated to their friends and families. Most victims of sextortion are young men and many are underage. 'This crime overwhelmingly targets young men. In fact, over 90% of reported victims are male,' says Jordan. ‌ A staggering 65% of teenagers and young adults have been targeted in online sextortion. When Jordan takes to Britain's streets to ask young people if they've encountered sex scammers, he finds that many have. It's estimated there are hundreds of thousands of victims out there, but many don't report it, says Jordan. ‌ In his documentary, UNTOLD: Hunting My Sextortion Scammer, Jordan meets one young victim who was blackmailed until he was physically ill and suicidal. Speaking anonymously, he says, 'It started when I was 16. I remember meeting somebody on a dating app. I was quite lonely then all of a sudden someone was showing me lots of interest, it was exciting. I felt seen and I felt understood, but it quickly turned into something more sinister.' After sending pictures of his body things took a nasty turn. He says, 'They bothered me all day, every day. I remember being asked for money. I showed screenshots of my bank accounts to prove I had nothing. I remember white hot panic that these pictures of me would be seen by my family and friends. It made me start being physically sick.' ‌ Although sextortion is illegal in the UK under blackmail laws, many scammers are thousands of miles away in places like the Ivory Coast, the Philippines and Nigeria, but Jordan was only able to find seven reports of prosecutions for sextortion-related offences in the UK. Meanwhile, 51 teenage suicides globally have been linked to sextortion. 'I don't like that young people are being taken advantage of,' says Jordan. 'You have hundreds of thousands of young guys sharing explicit images underage, and we have no idea where those images are on the internet.' ‌ Jordan is spurred on when he meets the family of Murray Dowey, 16, who took his own life in 2023 after being blackmailed by a sextortion scammer. Evan Dowey was 13 when his brother, Murray, died. 'He was a really good brother, he really looked out for me,' says Evan. 'Somebody started messaging him, posing as a girl his age, about 16. She asked him to send her an intimate photo. It turned out they were scammers and asking for money or they were going to send the photos to all his friends on his follow list. Murray decided to take his own life.' Now Murray's family want to ensure this never happens to another family. Evan continues, 'I just don't want anybody else to have to go through what I've had to go through.' To try to snare a scammer, Jordan creates a fake profile and fake gift cards (the preferred payment for scammers), which help him pinpoint their locations. He says, 'We're going to play the criminals at their own game.' But when one bites, he's shocked by the aggression of the scammer who phones him through Instagram and shouts, 'I swear I will destroy your life.' Watch the documentary to find out what Jordan discovers about those behind the sextortions.

Glastonbury fans complain over Rizzle Kicks snub after Jordan Stephens' message

Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule, known as the duo Rizzle Kicks, performed on the Other Stage at Glastonbury today with Jade Thirlwall among those in the crowd Fans of duo Rizzle Kicks shared their disappointment with the BBC earlier over their set at Glastonbury Festival. The reaction came after bandmate Jordan Stephens had himself issued a message about filming at the festival. Jordan and his bandmate Harley Alexander-Sule, both 33, performed together as Rizzle Kicks on the Other Stage at Worthy Farm in Somerset this afternoon. It marked the duo's return to the festival after making their Glastonbury debut on the BBC Introducing Stage back in 2013. ‌ Prior to their latest set, Jordan announced yesterday that the BBC, the "exclusive broadcast partner" of Glastonbury, would not be filming it. He shared the news in a statement issued to fans on Instagram ahead of their return today. ‌ Jordan wrote: "The BBC are not filming our Glastonbury set. If you're not there you will not be able to watch it back. It might well be once in a lifetime. Who knows." He added at the time: "The set is [fire emoji] and we're buzzin for it." His partner Jade Thirlwall, 32, later expressed disappointment over the situation. The Little Mix member, who is set to play the Woodsies Stage tomorrow, referenced the news on her Instagram Story whilst sharing her excitement over getting to see him perform at Glastonbury. Alongside a selfie, she wrote this afternoon: "What du mean I'm about to watch my bf at glasto when we were dreaming about it this time last year. Rizzle Kicks set isn't televised (booo) so get into it and get here to the other stage lol." Jade isn't alone in her disappointment, with a number of fans having expressed frustration over Rizzle Kicks' set not being available on BBC iPlayer. Several other acts who performed on the Other Stage today, like Franz Ferdinand and Gracie Abrams, were livestreamed. The livestream for that stage however began at 2.15pm, which was after Rizzle Kicks' set. ‌ One fan wrote on X: "Rizzle Kicks not being broadcast at Glastonbury is a travesty, especially compared to some of the s**t that they are showing." Another wrote: "@BBCiPlayer why can't I found Rizzle Kicks. I'm really disappointed." A third person, who had previously requested a livestream be available for the set, later posted: "Thanks guys missed Rizzle Kicks great job." Another said shortly after the duo's set began: "No Rizzle Kicks on iPlayer, sort it out lads." Approached for comment, a spokesperson for the BBC told the Mirror tonight that the broadcaster will be providing more than 90 hours of performances. They said: "The BBC, Glastonbury's exclusive broadcast partner, brings audiences a two-month celebration of the festival this June and July. "Our BBC iPlayer coverage provides over 90 hours of performances, with live streams of the five main stages, in addition to The Glastonbury Channel and over 90 sets to watch on demand throughout July. There is also extensive coverage on TV, radio and BBC Sounds - including over 30 performances and DJ sets that will be available to hear on demand on BBC Sounds throughout July."

Jade Thirwall celebrates five years with her Rizzle Kicks boyfriend Jordan Stephens as she shares loved-up tribute

Jade Thirlwall celebrated five years with Jordan Stephens by posting a heart-warming tribute to her partner on TikTok. The former Little Mix star, 32, and her Rizzle Kicks rapper boyfriend, 32, first sparked a romance after he asked a mutual friend to set them up back in 2019. Jade then took matters into her own hands, dropping Jordan a DM on Instagram asking for his 'pitch'. A few Zoom dates later the smitten couple were making their first public appearance together at a July 2020 Black Trans Lives Matter rally where they were pictured arm-in-arm. Five years on and the couple are still going strong - with Jade and Jordan appearing as loved-up as ever as she shared a gushing tribute to him on their anniversary. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. As their dog scurried past the camera, the video posted on TikTok showed a pyjama-clad Jade surprising her boyfriend in bed with a bunch of flowers and balloons to mark the special day. The post then cut to a compilation of Jade's favourite videos of Jordan, including smitten clips of the couple recording music, dancing and goofing around together. The spark seems very much still alive between the couple, who appeared completely smitten as they celebrated their milestone. A host of fans took to the comments section to congratulate their 'favourite couple' on five years together. They wrote: 'Happy anniversary to my favourite chaotic couple love you', 'I'm so happy for you both! It's been such a privilege to witness your relationship and love for each other! Thank you for giving us these glimpses into your life', 'This man is just a walking green flag I love that for you! He just gets it how humans are supposed to be', 'Couple goals. Fully supporting each other without the need to justify yourselves. Beautiful. A couple like no other.' While one amusingly commented: 'Oh man I feel so single.' Jade scored her first BRIT award as a solo artist earlier this year during the 2025 ceremony at the 02 arena. The former Little Mix singer couldn't wipe the smile off her face after beating the likes of Charli XCX to be crowned Best Pop Act at the ceremony in March. As her name was read out, the singer gasped in shock before excitedly making her way to the stage, where she amusingly struggled to climb the stairs onto the platform. Accepting the award, she gushed: 'Oh my God! This is my first solo BRIT Award! I can't cry because I've got to sing later, but I did do a little piece of paper in case I won the award. I know it's cringe but I knew I'd forget people. I'm flustered.' After the awards show, Jade and Jordan were pictured packing on the PDA as they shared a steamy kiss on the red carpet. A matter of weeks later Jordan - who said he 'enjoyed' meeting his now-girlfriend during lockdown - opened up about the dynamic of his relationship with Jade. Speaking on the We Need to Talk podcast with Paul Carrick, the 34-year-old said: 'My girlfriend earns more money than me. 'She's super successful and I f****** love it.' After being asked whether it's 'emasculating' have such a success girlfriend, he replied: 'It's reflected in the fact that I talk positively about Jade's career. They get shared loads. 'I've actually had a lot of personal texts from people who have been in situations where their partner, usually male partner has struggled with their success, or they felt emasculated by their success. 'Whereas for me, she's my superstar and I'm her superstar.'
