Jordanian Armed Forces Announce Need to Recruit Males Who Passed High School - Jordan News

The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army / Directorate of Personnel Affairs has announced its need to recruit a number of males holding a General Secondary Education Certificate (pass) to join military community colleges within the comprehensive diploma program and the technical program, subject to specific conditions for the year 2025/2026. اضافة اعلان The Command clarified that the study costs will be covered by the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, along with a cadet soldier salary according to regulations throughout the study period. According to a statement issued on Sunday, those selected will be granted the rank of Sergeant for graduates of the Medical Devices Institute, Corporal for graduates of the comprehensive diploma, and First Soldier for technicians. The statement added that those who achieve first and second place in the Intermediate University Certificate (Comprehensive) exam will be sent to Jordanian universities to obtain a bachelor's degree at the expense of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army. Applicants wishing to register for military community colleges are invited to apply electronically through the official website of the Directorate of Personnel Affairs / Military Recruitment Center ( which will be activated free of charge starting at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, until 6:00 PM on Monday, August 25, 2025. Applicants must fill in all required information correctly. For further information, applicants are advised to consult local newspapers or visit the official website of the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army ( and the Directorate of Personnel Affairs / Military Recruitment Center website ( Conditions: A. Must be a Jordanian national. B. Birthdate between January 1, 2005, and December 31, 2007. C. Must be medically fit for military service. D. Minimum height of 160 cm, with weight proportional to height. E. Must have passed the General Secondary Education Certificate with a grade meeting the specified requirements per specialization. F. Good conduct with no criminal convictions or offenses affecting honor. G. Must successfully pass the personal interview. H. External certificates must be officially equivalated by the Ministry of Education. I. Applicants must not have a sibling currently enrolled in any of the military-affiliated universities, colleges, or institutes (such as Mutah University Military Wing, Prince Hassan College for Islamic Sciences, Princess Muna College of Nursing, Prince Hussein Air College, Royal Military College, Medical Devices Institute, Royal Medical Services College for Allied Medical Professions, Military Community Colleges, Prince Faisal Technical College, or any military colleges/institutes or foreign missions). J. Applicants for the diploma program must be single and remain so throughout the study period. K. Those selected for the diploma program must provide the required legal sponsorship. L. Applicants must have no prior military or civilian service in the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army or security agencies. Required Documents: A. Personal details form duly completed, which will be sent via SMS by the Military Recruitment Center to those selected to compete. B. National ID and a certified copy. C. Original or certified copy of the academic transcript. D. Official equivalency for external certificates by the Ministry of Education. E. Four recent personal photos (4×6 cm) with a white background. F. Original or certified copy of birth certificate. G. Certified copy of family book (father's page) or certified death certificate of the father indicating place of birth if deceased. H. Valid deferment of military service booklet. I. Original or certified copy of retirement decision or a written statement proving that one of the parents is currently serving in the armed forces or security agencies, or a written statement proving that a parent is a military injured or martyr. J. Recent individual registry record. K. Application fee of 12 Jordanian dinars and medical examination fees. He added that with this new group, the total number of children received by private hospitals since the initiative launched in March has risen to 112 children accompanied by 241 escorts, with high-level medical and logistical coordination to ensure everyone's safety. On Wednesday, the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army evacuated the seventh group of sick children from Gaza, consisting of 35 children and 72 accompanying family members, for treatment in Jordanian hospitals as part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative. This initiative is implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization. This latest group is the largest so far in terms of the number of patients evacuated since the initiative began in March under Royal directives, bringing the total to 112 children with 241 companions. The medical evacuation was carried out with the highest standards of coordination and care, with the patients and their companions transported by land across the King Hussein Bridge under strict procedures and the supervision of specialized teams. The Jordanian Armed Forces, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, continue their efforts to evacuate more sick children from the Gaza Strip, despite the logistical and technical challenges involved in these operations.
