Pedro 'will hopefully go' and Strand Larsen 'will be in Lancing'

We asked for your views on whether Brighton need to act urgently in the transfer market, with the first window closing at 19:00 BST on are some of your comments:Tony: I would like to see Jorgen Strand Larsen arriving at the training ground in Lancing today, considering Bryan Mbeumo seems to be heading elsewhere!Thomas: Joao Pedro will hopefully go. The worry is with his temperament but nobody will match Tony Bloom's price tag. Bringing in a striker could be a good idea. Everything will be done before deadline day, in classic Brighton I would really like to get Harvey Elliott from Liverpool. There's an article up on BBC Sport about the uncertainty of whether or not he will be at Liverpool next year. He clearly wants more minutes and, with Florian Wirtz looking like he is going to be taking that attacking midfield spot at Liverpool, I think someone who can play as a midfielder, an attacking midfielder or a winger will be great for us.

Pereira on team news, finishing the season strong, and Brentford

Wolves boss Vitor Pereira has been speaking to the media before Sunday's final Premier League game against Brentford (kick-off 16:00 BST).Here are the key lines from his news conference:Striker Jorgen Strand Larsen may not be fit enough to play: "We have doubts. He is trying. We will see tomorrow." Pereira said his aim is to achieve European football at Wolves very soon as the "money" is vital for the club. On the turnaround in form since his appointment in December: "I feel proud of everybody because it is from teamwork. I feel proud of the players and all the staff in the club because we struggle a lot to finish the season and keep our position in the Premier League." However, Pereira did say Wolves "made a lot of not usual mistakes" against Crystal Palace on Tuesday, which cost them the game. On finishing the season strongly: "Our focus is the game. The team deserves to finish with a win, but we must prove the quality and that we are mentally there because sometimes the mind is looking for the holidays. A lot of them go to their national teams so there is only a short time to rest. We need to put effort in to compete and get three points." On Wolves' plans for the summer: "It is important to bring players that want to come - that want to live in Wolverhampton - and play in the best league in the world with the character and the personality to work in a simple but beautiful city." More on recruitment and club targets: "Now is the time to understand the players that we need to balance the squad. They [the recruitment department] usually propose some players. Me and my staff check and in the end, we decide. It is not about money but quality." He is unsure which players might leave at the end of the season but noted that it is always a good time to show gratitude to the home fans, irrespective of a player's future. On Brentford: "They are strong and consistent in the way they play. They have a manager who has been working for a long time at the same club - but it is not about them. It is about us." Crystal Palace 4-2 Wolves

Wolves have nothing but pride to play for this season as they sit 14th in the table and Vitor Pereira showed he had one eye on 2025-26 as he made five changes for this their credit, they did not play like a team whose mind might be on their summer holidays and instead pushed Palace hard for their win as Jorgen Strand Larsen's second-half header gave them something to fight for, until Eberechi Eze's introduction made the win save for the successive wins pulled Wolves well clear of danger earlier this year but this was a third consecutive loss. and they will be determined to not let the season finish with a losing run when they host Brentford at the weekend.
