Peru Surprisingly Changes Finance Minister Ahead of PM Censure Vote
Peru's unpopular President Dina Boluarte surprisingly replaced her finance minister who had been on the job less than four months. Boluarte on Tuesday appointed Raul Perez-Reyes, replacing now-former Finance Minister Jose Salardi with a loyal top official who has previously served in two other cabinet roles.

LIMA, May 13 (Reuters) - Peruvian President Dina Boluarte on Tuesday shook up her cabinet, again swapping out the Andean nation's economy minister. Jose Salardi had assumed the post in January. He will be replaced by Raul Perez, Boluarte said.

Peru will be the second fastest growing Latam economy in 2025, says minister
Feb 24 (Reuters) - Peru is expected to rank as the second fastest growing economy in Latin America during the year, economy minister Jose Salardi said on Monday during a press conference. Salardi pointed to fiscal improvement and foreign investment as some of the factors helping to support the growth of the South American country's economy. Peru is bouncing back from an economic recession, with the government and central bank forecasting positive prospects for 2025, with fewer inflationary pressures and an investment recovery.
