Ammanford through in knockout cup after Llangennech win
Under sunny skies, they took on Llangennech in the South Wales Cricket Association Knockout Cup round one at Llangennech on Sunday.
Ammanford, batting first, saw star performances from Josef Davies (55), Alun Evans (24), and Matthew Spoors (19), putting up a total of 149 for six in 20 overs.
Owen Davies and Spoors' bowling brilliance bowled Llangennech out for just 41 runs, the pair taking three wickets each.
Ammanford now advance to round two.
Their next league match is scheduled for Saturday, where they will face Bridgend away.
