Police appeal for help finding missing 89-year-old man
The man has now been found. Cumbria Police are appealing for any information about a missing 89-year-old man. He was last seen in the Dalston Road area of Carlisle at around 3.45pm today (July 25). Police say he isn't very mobile so may not have travelled very far. Mr Fox is around 5ft 7ins tall, with a bald head and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a woollen dark coat with a sheepskin lining and burgundy trouser-like corduroy. He may also be wearing a trilby hat. Officers are concerned for Joseph's welfare and are encouraging anyone who sees him to contact police on 999. Driver charged after hitting bicycle carrying 3 juveniles
SANDUSKY, Ohio (WJW) — A driver is facing charges after a vehicle hit a bicycle early Saturday morning in Perkins Township, seriously injuring two juveniles. Suspect in Euclid Beach Park shooting still at-large According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Sandusky Post, Joseph Fox, 34, was driving south on Campbell St. around 2:40 a.m. on July 5. Meanwhile, three juveniles were riding a 'three wheeled bicycle' heading the same direction as Fox, a news release from OSHP said. 'Mr. Fox struck the juveniles from behind, ejecting two of them from the bicycle. The third juvenile was able to jump from the bicycle before being struck,' according to OSHP. A red light on the back of the bicycle was active at the time of the crash, troopers said. Fox left the scene but was located a short time later in parking lot where he was taken into custody. Guardians fall to Tigers in 8th straight loss According to OSHP, the two juveniles on the bike suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital. The juvenile who jumped from the bicycle was not hurt. Fox has been charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead (ACDA), Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol and or Drugs (OVI), Felony Hit Skip and Felony Aggravated Vehicular Assault.
