Isle of Wight's Wet Leg tease new music with social media snippet
Isle of Wight indie band Wet Leg has teased new music as fans wait for their return. In a post on the band's social media on Tuesday (March 18), lead singer Rhian Teasdale is seen singing to a new song. A release date for the song is yet to be confirmed. Last week, the band posted a photo of themselves on social media captioned 'We're so back', prompting speculation of a new album and tour. The post also featured a link to the band's website, which allows users to sign up to Wet Leg's mailing list in a retro computer graphic design. The band's last performance was at Portsmouth's Victorious Festival. Rhian Teasdale announced the Sunday night set was the last live outing for some Wet Leg songs. Speaking in between songs, the lead singer told the crowd on Southsea Common that the show was "the last time that we'll be playing some of these songs live.' She also mentioned that the headline set felt like a homecoming for them, despite being from 'over the water'. The band have been announced to play Green Man Festival, Glastonbury Festival, TRNSMT Festival and Wilderness Festival this summer.
