Covington man killed in Washington Parish crash
WASHINGTON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A Covington man is dead following a crash that happened in Washington Parish on the morning of March 13.
According to the Louisiana State Police, troopers with Troop L began investigating the crash, which happened on LA 21 near Easterling Landing Road, around 5:50 a.m.

The initial investigation shows that a 2014 GMC Yukon, which was being driven by 34-year-old Joshua J. Curry, was headed north on LA 21 when, for reasons that are still being investigated, the Yukon veered off of the road in a left-hand curve, flipped and crashed into a home.
Curry was unrestrained and was ejected from the SUV, sustaining severe injuries. He was pronounced dead on scene. As part of the investigation, standard toxicology samples were taken from Orleans mother seeking answers in son's 2022 unsolved murder
