Titans add UFL defensive lineman Josiah Bronson
Veteran defensive lineman Josiah Bronson is the latest player to parlay a stint in the UFL into another shot in the NFL. The Titans announced that they have signed Bronson, who most recently played for the UFL's Memphis Showboats during their spring 2025 season. Although most UFL players don't make it to the NFL, the spring minor league has served as a springboard for several players who had previous NFL shots to get another one. Bronson has spent time with the Saints, Browns, Cowboys, Dolphins, Patriots and Colts in the NFL, appearing in a total of eight NFL games. The Titans released defensive lineman Devonte O'Malley to make room for Bronson on the roster.

Report: Tennessee Titans to add UFL defensive tackle
The Tennessee Titans have been busy working on building out their roster since the start of training camp, and that continued on Sunday. Hours after adding offensive lineman Arlington Hambright to the fold to boost interior line depth, reports have surfaced that Tennessee is adding to its defensive front as well. In a social media post, James Larsen reports that the Titans are tapping into the UFL and adding former Memphis Showboats defensive tackle Josiah Bronson to their 90-man roster. Bronson would bring some NFL experience to the defensive line to help offset the loss of T'Vondre Sweat, who is sidelined with an abdominal injury and considered day-to-day. With no timetable set for his return and joint practices scheduled for the next two weeks, adding another lineman would make sense. Initially signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2021. Bronson has mostly bounced around the NFL on practice squads. Still, he was active for a handful of games with the Saints and the Cleveland Browns during the 2021 season. Bronson is coming off his second season in the UFL with the Showboats and had a solid season as a starting defensive tackle, recording 28 total tackles (18 solo). The Showboats have officially released Bronson, clearing the way for the Titans to finalize the deal. Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website confirmed the signing. In a corresponding move, Tennessee waived defensive lineman Devonte O'Malley. This article originally appeared on Titans Wire: Report: Tennessee Titans to add UFL defensive tackle
