6 best Charlotte Tilbury perfumes – from sweet to woody there's a scent suited to everyone
If your perfume collection is craving a makeover, Charlotte Tilbury has got you covered with six beautifully bottled mood‑boosters that channel good vibes through scent. Seeking a bit of calm? There's a bottle for that. Craving sensual confidence? Spray it on. As the old adage goes: smell good, feel good! The brand's 'Collection of Emotions' perfume range launched in April 2024, and while they're loved by many, they are still, IMO, the unsung heroes of the beauty brand. Move over Magic Cream because these intoxicating scents – named Love Frequency, Joyphoria, Magic Energy, Calm Bliss, More Sex, and Cosmic Power – deserve a spot on the podium. The one downside? They are on the spennier side, each priced at £130 for 100ml. That said, do you get what you pay for – and here, you're getting delicious fragrance that lasts all day (aka, the longevity of these perfumes is impressive). Ranging from floral‑woody romance to amber‑spicy empowerment, these scents invite layering, mixing and matching. Welcome to perfume as self‑expression, starring Charlotte Tilbury and a six‑way mood menu! Forget blind dates with fragrance; we're making mood rituals glamorous...

Beauty fans can snap up Charlotte Tilbury scents for £11 each
Charlotte Tilbury is making it easier for us to find our new summer scent with this limited-time deal Charlotte Tilbury's fragrance line made serious waves in the beauty world when it launched in 2024, thanks to its lineup of mood-boosting scents in opulent-looking bottles. For fans of the perfume or those who have been waiting for the right moment to try it, we have good news: the Fragrance Collection of Emotions Discovery Set is currently on sale for £33.60, down from £48, which works out to £11.20 per perfume. The set includes three of the brand's bestselling 10ml fragrances: Love Frequency, More Sex and Joyphoria. Perfectly sized for travel, they're ideal for popping into a handbag or packing for a summer getaway. Love Frequency is a sensual floral scent with notes of rose, saffron, and musk - a romantic blend designed to spark connection. Meanwhile, More Sex turns up the heat with spicy black pepper, juicy berries and a deep base of musk and amber wood. Finally, we have Joyphoria, a bright and uplifting floral mix of jasmine, vanilla, and ylang-ylang. In fact, according to the brand, 91% of customers agreed that the scent enhanced feelings of happiness. The sale offers a great opportunity to test the fragrances before splurging on a full-size bottle, which typically retails for £100 each. For those who want to browse, three additional scents are available for purchase that aren't included in the set: Magic Energy, Calm Bliss, and Cosmic Power. For those wanting to shop around, there are plenty more discovery sets to explore. That includes Victoria Beckham's Signature Collection, £40m which showcases 21:50 Reverie, Portofino '97, Suite 302, and San Ysidro Drive in miniature 2ml bottles. Another option is Strangelove, an ultra-luxe perfume house that creates artisanal, sustainably made fragrances. The solo bottles are mega expensive (up to £760), but this Discovery Set is a far more accessible way to experience the scents, priced at £92 for five 2ml bottles. Returning to Charlotte Tilbury, the fragrances have garnered numerous positive reviews. A Love Frequency fan aid: "The fragrance of this perfume is quite strong and yet is so beautifully balanced with all the different scents that it has. One spray from it and you instantly feel that you have been transferred to another world." On Joyphoria, a shopper enthused: "It's easily my new favourite that I'll be reaching for every day! A little spritz of the warm floral and vanilla scent lasts hours and hours - I timed it to eight hours and I could still smell, and others could too." However, the perfumes aren't suited to everyone. Someone who bought Love Frequency said: "It's very overpowering, and in the end it smelled more medicinal. I know perfumes can smell differently on each person due to their skin chemistry, for which I have never had an issue with in my life. I wanted to love it, but I really cannot say I even liked it." And an unhappy More Sex user said: "The scent is more of a men's cologne smell - musky and woody and reminded me of a Grandad smell." In contrast, another More Sex shopper said: "The smell is still lingering for days after I find it, which is amazing as not many perfumes I find last that long. I love the packaging and the design of the bottle, it's very sexy". The Fragrance Collection of Emotions Discovery Set is just one of several deals running at As part of its latest summer sale, the iconic beauty brand is offering up to 45% off beauty kits, including makeup sets, skincare bundles and perfumes.

'I found a £25 perfume at Boots that's like holiday in a bottle'
Ted Baker is best known for it's floral fashion designs and indulgent bathing products, but their latest launch is set to be a hit with fragrance fans I'm a frequent fragrance rotator, and I love to match my daily perfume pick to my mood, outfit, and the weather. As the temperature rises, I've found myself moving away from the light, soft and airy scents of spring and into more tropical aromas, with one £25 bottle fast becoming a go-to. Ted Baker's new fragrance Kasia has landed just in time for summer, and it's every bit the sunny, mood-boosting escape it promises to be. Inspired by 'golden hour warmth and carefree optimism', it delivers good vibes from the first spritz and is the ultimate 'holiday in a bottle' scent. It's a bright, breezy eau de toilette that brings together tropical fruit, creamy florals, and soft, woody notes, all while managing to stay refreshingly sophisticated. It opens up with juicy lychee bringing a slightly tart sweetness, giving way to a floral core of jasmine and pink hibiscus. But perhaps the most standout note is the creamy coconut, which manages to stay warm and comforting, without veering into sugary body spray territory. Further cementing its status as a mature and sophisticated scent, it's beautifully blended with soft vanilla, amber and sandalwood, which gives it a little bit of an edge. The perfume is powered by mood-boosting fragrance technology, meaning it really is 'joy in a bottle'. It's formulated using MoodScentz+ technology from Givaudan – a science-backed innovation proven to enhance feelings of happiness and wellbeing. Ted Baker isn't the only brand designing scents with specific emotions in mind, though. Charlotte Tilbury has a collection of six perfumes, each aiming to evoke a specific feeling, from Calm Bliss to Joyphoria. Charlotte's Collection of Emotions starts at £20 per bottle, although a full-sized bottle costs over £100. By comparison, Ted Baker's spritz is incredibly affordable, coming in at £25 for 50ml and £34 for 100ml. It may not have the longevity of a more concentrated eau de parfum, but it's a fantastic budget-friendly option and one you can afford to be more liberal with. Another popular option with a coconut-centric scent is the Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk. It evokes the feeling of salty skin, sun lotion, and coastal breezes, with similar coconut-vanilla warmth for £60. Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 62, £38, is richer and sweeter than Kasia, with pistachio and caramel notes, but still in the same feel-good, vacation-ready family. And for many fragrance fans, Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess is considered the OG summer scent, with coconut milk, amber, and florals; a little more decadent but in the same golden, beachy lane. If you're looking for an affordable signature for the warmer months, Kasia is an easy yes. Whether you're tossing it into your beach bag or spritzing it before a summer coffee date, it's guaranteed to garner compliments.
