Chelsea willing to sell England star and £52m flop as part of Blues fire sale with Enzo Maresca keen to refresh squad ahead of Champions League return
Chelsea are understood to be open to offers for Noni Madueke. The England winger joined from PSV Eindhoven in 2023 and scored 11 goals in all competitions last season but the club are willing to sacrifice him alongside Christopher Nkunku and João Félix, who is a target for Benfica, as they look to freshen up their attacking options this summer. They remain in contact with Eintracht Frankfurt for Hugo Ekitike but his price tag of £84m is prohibitive at this stage. Madueke was a regular started for manager Enzo Maresca last season — making 32 Premier League appearances — but he did not always stay in his manager's good books. In August, after Madueke scored in the Conference League win over Servette, Maresca told the 23-year-old England international that he must train better. Then, in December, Madueke's levels again dropped in training and so Maresca retaliated by dropping him to the bench for their game against Aston Villa. He had started their last 11 Premier League matches but was a substitute for that victory, once more told by his boss that coasting through sessions at Cobham will not be tolerated. Later that month, the forward was dropped for the matchday completely for their Boxing Day defeat by Fulham, a game in which Maresca named two goalkeepers on his bench as if to prove a point. Nkunku stayed at Stamford Bridge after a deal for the French forward to join Bayern Munich in January fell through. Nkunku arrived from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52.7m in 2023 and scored 14 goals last season but only three in the league. He has been tried in a variety of attacking roles but has failed to impress. Felix, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Milan, first joined Chelsea in 2023 on loan before later joining Barcelona only to move back to the Blues in a permanent £45m deal. But by February, he had fallen out of favour with Maresca and joined AC Milan on loan managing just three goals in 21 games.

GABBIA IS THE MVP FROM AC MILAN v MONZA
AC Milan finished the season with a 2-0 victory over Monza at San Siro, thanks largely to a solid performance by Matteo Gabbia, who was named MVP. The centre-back opened the scoring in the 64th minute, heading home from a Chukwueze corner. His defensive alertness helped the team to keep a clean sheet, further proof of his importance to the side. Gabbia had a flawless game, not just scoring, but also adding a constant presence at the back. He made two key interventions and lead the back line with assuredness and confidence. His header opened the scoring and put AC Milan on the road to victory. His ability to read the game and get to the ball before his opponents was fundamental tonight. Gabbia's stats speak for themselves: one goal, two key defensive interventions and a 94% pass completion rate. His performance was an example of leadership and determination, showing how important he is to his team. With 90 minutes played, he showed off his physical fitness and top concentration levels. Having taken over 44% of the votes, Gabbia came first in the MVP poll ahead of João Félix, who scored the Rossoneri's second, Christian Pulisic, and Samuel Chukwueze, who looked good off the bench. Bravo Matteo, keep it up!The new PUMA Home Kit 2025/26 is available: buy it now!

Chelsea Outcast Urged to Make Shock PSG Move After AC Milan Loan Comes to End
Chelsea Outcast Urged to Make Shock PSG Move After AC Milan Loan Comes to End Over the years, João Félix has struggled to find a place where his talent shines, whether Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Barcelona, or AC Milan. None of these moves have become a long-term home for the Portugal international. Advertisement Félix left Chelsea to go on loan to the Serie A side, but Milan's decision to keep the player is unlikely, so he will return to Stamford Bridge with an uncertain future. The question will be whether another club feels they can get the most out of the former SL Benfica youth product. He is only 25, so it's not like he's a player in the back end of his prime years. Could Luis Enrique save Joao Felix'sFélix's career? In an interview with Milan Presse, Marcel Desailly said the Portuguese player should join a project that suits him. According to Desailly, PSG could be an interesting destination for Félix, whose contract with Chelsea runs until 2031. Advertisement 'João Félix is a very talented player, but he still hasn't found his place,' Desailly (h/t Le10Sport). 'He's been at Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, and now Milan without genuinely making a lasting impression. At this point in his career, he needs a club with a clear philosophy that can build its project around him and allow him to fully express his potential, which is still hard to see. 'I suggest Paris Saint-Germain for him. What João Félix lacks isn't technique, but character. He's not a leader. Right now, he's not what Milan need, because he lacks the mentality to help revive the Rossoneri. And the feeling is mutual.'

João Félix shows Barcelona loyalty after win over Atlético Madrid
João Félix shows Barcelona loyalty after win over Atlético Madrid Former Barcelona attacker João Félix made clear his happiness for his former teammates in the Camp Nou dressing room following their latest victory on Wednesday night. Barcelona are of course fresh off booking their spot in the final of the Copa del Rey. Advertisement After making the trip to Spain's capital for the 2nd leg of a semi-final showdown with Diego Simeone's Atlético, a solitary strike on the part of Ferran Torres proved enough to guide the Blaugrana through. As much means that Hansi Flick's troops remain firmly in the running for a historic treble. And as alluded to above, one individual who was quick to make clear his happiness for Barcelona's stars post-match on Wednesday night was João Félix. After seeing one of his ex-clubs send another packing from the cup, frontman Félix took to social media, to 'like' Iñigo Martínez's celebratory post on Instagram. Advertisement After finally bringing a permanent close to his tumultuous Atléti stint last summer, the Portuguese, it would appear, has placed his loyalties with the Rojiblancos' La Liga rivals.
