Maniesh Paul Joins Sidharth Malhotra's Mythological Supernatural Vvan: Report

Maniesh Paul joins Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the mythological thriller Vvan. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, Vvan is set for a May 15, 2026 release. Maniesh Paul has been on a spree. After making audiences laugh with his role in the Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer Jug Jug Jeeyo, he teamed up with Dhawan for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, and now the actor has reportedly signed one more project. It has been reported that Paul will join Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia's mythological supernatural thriller Vvan. The paparazzi page InstantBollywood claimed, 'Maniesh Paul makes a power-packed entry into Vvan – Force of the Forest, joining Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in Balaji Telefilms & TVF Motion Pictures' much-awaited cinematic spectacle." While this report has left social media buzzing, there has been no official announcement from the makers of the film. Vvan controversy Sidharth Malhotra's Vvan has been one of the most talked-about projects, and earlier reports claimed that director Deepak Kumar Mishra was removed from the film due to creative differences with Sidharth. However, he later shrugged off these rumours. While speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Deepak said, 'I don't have any such information. Nothing has happened. This is out of the blue. I just want to state that nothing has happened. Sidharth and I are very strong. We are jamming so well and working hard on the film. It is 100 per cent false." About Sidharth Malhotra's Vvan The first schedule of Vvan was completed in June, and the next is expected to start in August. Vvan, a joint production by TVF and Balaji Motion Pictures, was originally set to begin filming earlier this year. However, the shoot was reportedly pushed back due to scheduling conflicts with Sidharth Malhotra and the exit of Sara Ali Khan, who was initially in talks for the female lead. Eventually, Tamannaah Bhatia came on board, and the team later announced a new release date, moving the film from its planned Chhath Puja 2025 slot to May 15, 2026. About Maniesh Paul Maniesh Paul was last seen in the 2023 heist comedy series Rafuchakkar alongside Priya Bapat, Sushant Singh, Aksha Pardasany, and others. He played the role of Pawan Kumar, a con artist. The actor will next be seen in Shashank Khaitan's romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, featuring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. The film is set to release on September 12. According to IMDb, Maniesh is also set to appear in David Dhawan's upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, which stars Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde in lead roles.
