Longhorns to host Julian Caldwell for official visit
When the calendar flips to June, the Texas Longhorns will be busy welcoming recruits to campus for visits. That list now includes Julian Caldwell. The four-star wide receiver will be on campus June first. It will be the first trip of what is expected to be a busy month for Caldwell. After his stop in Austin, Caldwell will visit with the SMU Mustangs on June 2. He is then scheduled to meet with LSU on June 12 and Oregon on June 18th. The heavy interest in Caldwell is no surprise. He is ranked as the No. 9 wideout in the 2027 class and is the No. 11 ranked prospect in Texas, according to On3. Over the last two years, the Longhorns have developed Xavier Worth and Matthew Golden into NFL Draft picks. They are also set to welcome back Ryan Wingo, who has shown flashes of promise in his college career. Caldwell has the potential to be the next success story.
