Summer Sunset Series kicks off in Henderson
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- The Summer Sunset Series begins tonight, bringing energy to downtown Henderson. The event will feature live music, artisan and farmer market vendors, as well as celebrate local artists in Henderson's Sunset District. Junior Achievement of Evansville unveils plans for Discovery Center The series will take place on select Thursdays throughout the summer from 4 to 8 p.m. Each month, attendees will be able to enjoy an evening filled with entertainment, shopping, and a highlight of what downtown Henderson has to offer. Junior Achievement of Evansville unveils plans for Discovery Center
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Junior Achievement of Evansville has unveiled their plans to build a 'Dream Center.' During the Evansville Business Hall of Fame Ceremony, Junior Achievement of Evansville announced their $11,000,000 investment into in business and financial education into the community. Junior Achievement Board Chair Shawn McCoy said the center is an investment in the Evansville Community. 'It's hands on for them,' said McCoy. 'They get introduced to the businesses we have in the communities that we live, so that when they graduate college they're going to know what's available here in our community and hopefully come back here and work in the Evansville community.'
