Juniper Green Energy secures ₹1,739 crore debt funding from IREDA for renewable projects
Juniper Green Energy on Wednesday said it has secured Rs 1,739 crore in debt financing from Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA). Juniper Green Energy commissions 25-MW wind energy project in Gujarat
Juniper Green Energy , an independent renewable energy producer, has announced the commissioning of 25-MW of wind power capacity for its 50 MW project in Gujarat, according to a report by news agency PTI. According to the report, the project was commissioned months ahead of its Scheduled Commercial Operation Date of October 17, 2025. Juniper Green Beam , a subsidiary of Juniper Green Energy, holds a power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited for the full 50 MW capacity. This agreement was signed in 2023. 'The early commissioning of the Dev Bhumi Dwarka wind project demonstrates Juniper Green Energy's execution skills and focus on timelines. We are committed to advancing India's clean energy transition by delivering dependable and sustainable power,' said Ankush Malik , CEO of Juniper Green Energy. The company has been actively expanding its presence in Gujarat's renewable energy sector . In July, Juniper Green Energy, through its subsidiary Juniper Green Bess Two, signed a PPA with GUVNL for a 100 MW wind project and also secured a Letter of Intent for an additional 50 MW wind project from the state utility.
