Diana Vickers reveals moment she caught Leonardo DiCaprio doing 'bizarre' thing

In a strange clash of worlds, Diana Vickers once ended up in a 'bizarre' situation with Hollywood A-lister Leonardo DiCaprio. The former X Factor star, 34, revealed on Metro's Just Between Us podcast that she had gone to Leo's home, thinking she'd landed a party invitation. Diana was discussing age-gap relationships with co-host Alice Giddings when the topic of the Titanic actor cropped up due to his recent comments. Leonardo, 50, has a reputation for dating a string of 20-something models and is currently seeing Vittoria Ceretti, 27. He was put forward as an example of a 'man in Hollywood with so much fame and power, who doesn't want to grow up.' 'I did meet Leo once', the singer told Metro's sex columnist before adding: 'He will have no memory of meeting me.' Diana revealed: 'One of his mates invited me around to his house. I thought it was going to be a party. 'Then I ended up just sitting with him watching telly. It was a really, really bizarre moment.' However, Diana believed this was more than just a one-time weirdness and instead the Revenant star 'has a system'. 'So, Leo's obviously at the helm of it – and he surrounds himself with these good-looking lads, who are all looking for a good time,' she shared. 'The good-looking lads go and source these hot women for him – it's really dodgy. 'That stuff happens a lot in Hollywood. These men have got so much fame and power, and they don't want to grow up. 'They just want to be surrounded by beautiful young women all the time. I am not generalising Leo here, I think that's just what happens. 'It's quite weird actually.' Leo recently said he 'turned emotionally 35 last year' in an interview for Esquire, after stating he was 32 years old. However, Diana explained that the age-gap relationship is becoming increasingly common for women as 'a lot more' are dating younger men. 'One of the last guys I dated was five years younger than me – I did feel it. It was why we didn't work out,' she said. More Trending Diana explained: 'When you're older, you want to put in the graft – you want to see things through. You don't dwell on smaller things as much. 'This guy just gave off immature energy – he was constantly holding on to things. I think I maybe acted immature because he was less mature. 'It made me feel less of my older, feminine energy. I sort of reverted back. It was a lot of fun though.' View More » You can listen to Metro's Just Between Us podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube. Got a story? She added: 'They just want to be surrounded by beautiful young women all the time. I am not generalising Leo here, I think that's just what happens. It's quite weird actually.' Fans convinced Leonardo DiCaprio was 'flirting' with two former Wimbledon stars at Centre Court During the chat, Diana revealed that she'd dated men older and younger than her. She said: 'One of the last guys I dated was five years younger than me – I did feel it. It was why we didn't work out. 'When you're older, you want to put in the graft – you want to see things through. You don't dwell on smaller things as much. 'This guy just gave off immature energy – he was constantly holding on to things. I think I maybe acted immature because he was less mature. 'It made me feel less of my older, feminine energy. I sort of reverted back. It was a lot of fun though.' And according to a relationship expert, men like Leo tend to go for age gaps because it makes them feel younger — but that's not the only reason. Lovehoney's sex and relationship expert, Annabelle Knight, is a bestselling author and a celebrity relationship coach. Last year, she spoke to The U.S. Sun, she broke down why men in their 50s and beyond sometimes prefer dating women around half their age. "High-profile men have been dating younger women for decades," she said. More and more are coming forward with younger and younger girlfriends, like former New England Patriots general manager Bill Belichick, 72, who recently went public with Jordan Hudson, 24. 'This has always been a trend in Tinseltown," Knight said. "Look back at any decade in the past and you'll be able to think of a couple with a big age gap — whether it's Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, or Frank Sinatra with Mia Farrow," she added. The "prevalence of these relationships in Hollywood" may be down to the rules "feeling slightly different" there. She added that many societal pressures may influence some men's preference towards younger women, especially in Hollywood. She said it "could be easier not to feel as constrained by societal norms as the average person does.' Leo's oldest partner was model Gigi Hadid, 27, in 2022. His longest relationships have been five years with model Gisele Bundchen, five with model Bar Refaeli and four with actress Camila Morrone — all of whom were ditched aged 25. Others were actresses and models Erin Heatherton aged 22, Kelly Rohrbach, 25, Toni Garrn, 21 and Nina Agdal, 25. Vittoria Ceretti is the actor's current partner. 4 During the chat, Diana revealed that she'd dated men older and younger than her Credit: Instagram

This is why you keep getting ghosted after a good date

You meet a handsome date in a bar and he's perfectly charming. You hit it off, he compliments your eyes, and after a few drinks discussing your dreams of travelling and sharing pet photos, he walks you to the station and kisses you goodnight. But the next morning there's no message. That's okay, he's probably playing it cool. But morning turns to evening, which stretches into a few days, and all you have is tumbleweeds. You've been ghosted. Now, I'm certainly not projecting here (it's the last time I trek to Paddington for a date), being ghosted is becoming somewhat of a universal experience. It was a sore point for one listener on Metro's Just Between Us podcast, who wrote in asking for advice on what to do when she'd been ghosted. She said: 'I went out with a guy – best date ever! He asked me to go on another date during our first date, texted me after the date saying goodnight and how much he enjoyed it. 'But it's been silence since then – I've been ghosted.' X Factor icon Diana Vickers and Metro's dating expert Alice Giddings dive into your wildest sex, love, and dating dilemmas – every Tuesday. Listen wherever you get your podcasts or watch on YouTube. If this has happened to you, we can confirm that if the date went great, it's likely your date had a case of the 'identity wobbles'. Relationship psychologist Dr Lalitaa Suglani explains this is much more common than we think. 'It happens when a date goes so well that it unexpectedly triggers an identity crisis, or when someone feels it is 'too good to be true',' she tells Metro. 'So, they may end up self-abandoning by sabotaging the connection, especially if they hold a deeper belief that it is not going to work out.' She adds that people who experience this reaction usually have anxious or avoidant attachment styles. At least you know it's not a you problem. In fact, Dr Suglani, dating expert for eharmony, explains: 'If someone's self-image is rooted in being single, emotionally unavailable, or 'not ready for a relationship,' the sudden possibility of real connection can feel destabilising. 'Rather than confront these feelings, they may withdraw abruptly.' After a date, ghosting becomes the quickest way to restore emotional equilibrium and regulate their nervous systems,' she adds. Essentially, ghosting is the brain choosing the 'flight' part of the flight-or-fight response to the emotional risk – no matter how enjoyable the date was. It's a total bummer, but there are some signs you can look out for to try and avoid those who are likely to have an identity wobble. With 29% of daters admitting to being a ghoster, you might have your work cut out for you. Dr Suglani says: 'They might make self-deprecating jokes about being 'bad at relationships' or 'emotionally unavailable.' 'They could be vague about their recent dating history or say they 'aren't looking for anything serious' while still agreeing to a date. 'Or they might seem charming but slightly avoidant when asked personal or future oriented questions.' In short, no. It sucks, but you may just have to let that dreamy Prince Charming get away. 'There is little you can do to change someone's readiness for intimacy or a relationship,' the therapist explains. 'It is about their internal landscape and their level of self-awareness, not your behaviour.' If you really want to try and break their pattern, then Dr Suglani suggests: 'Pace the emotional intensity of early dates and create space for them to opt in at their own speed, while also managing your own expectations and tending to your own wounds. More Trending 'For example, if you grew up with an avoidant parent, you may find this dynamic unconsciously 'attractive' and feel compelled to 'fix' the person, so be mindful of this tendency. 'If they still ghost, it reflects where they are in their own self-concept, not the quality of the connection or who they are dating. 'Plus, if you feel sadness or disappointment, it is important to practise self-care and engage in activities that support and ground you.' View More » Trying to fix someone never goes well, so look after number one and you'll be golden, even if you end up being haunted by a few ghosts along the way. Do you have a story to share? Sleepgasms are real — my climax wakes me up in the mornings

'Do you ever wake yourself up having an orgasm?' I stared at Diana as she asked me the question, completely mind-boggled. I can safely say I've never had an orgasm while sleeping, and apparently, I'm missing out. 'Sometimes I'm asleep and then I'll wake up having an orgasm — it'll wake me up,' Diana explains. 'I don't know whether the dream is very sexy, or what's going on, but I'll open my eyes and have to attend to the fact it's happening. 'It happened this morning,' she adds. This was a hot topic on this week's episode of Just Between Us, Metro's sex and relationships podcast, which was all about orgasms: check out the £11,000 orgasm retreat we got the lowdown on, too. But after I was left O-so speechless by Diana's sleepgasms (and a little jealous), I enlisted the help of Dr Hana Patel, UK GP and women's health expert, to reveal just how sleep orgasms work. Otherwise known as a nocturnal orgasm, this is an orgasm that happens during your sleep, without any physical stimulation. 'They're a healthy part of sexual function, often linked to erotic dreams or subconscious arousal,' Dr Patel tells Metro. Love reading juicy stories like this? Need some tips for how to spice things up in the bedroom? Sign up to The Hook-Up and we'll slide into your inbox every week with all the latest sex and dating stories from Metro. We can't wait for you to join us! She explains it usually happens during REM sleep. REM stands for Rapid Eye Movement – the more deep your sleep, the more your eyes will move around. Once you're in REM sleep your eyes move quickly in all directions. In this deep sleep, your brain becomes much more active. Yes, the more asleep you are, the more alert your brain is. This is where your vivid dreams will happen – at your deepest phase of sleep. 'This is when the brain regions tied to emotion, memory, and arousal are activated,' Dr Patel for Superdrug Online Doctor explains. This increased brain activity can trigger a heightened state of arousal, according to the doctor. 'Your brain being highly active is to process emotions, memories, and vivid dreams,' Dr Patel adds. 'The body reacts on its own during sleep: this could mean more blood flows to the genitals, the muscles in the pelvic area might tighten, and without the brain holding anything back, an orgasm can happen automatically. 'Despite this, your body will remain mostly paralysed to prevent you acting out dreams.' While we'd all love to dream we're getting in on with the likes of Patrick Dempsey, Jacob Elordi, or the dreamy Leah Williamson – sadly it's not necessary for a nocturnal orgasm. *Huffs*. In fact, Dr Patel explains that what happened to Diana, is completely normal. 'People often report waking up mid-orgasm with no memory of a sexual dream,' she says. 'This means sleepgasms can occur quite spontaneously, likely triggered by things like body positioning or even hormonal shifts.' In essence, yes. 'Sleepgasms are broadly comparable to men's nocturnal penile tumescence (morning wood) or wet dreams,' Dr Patel says. She stresses that these are all perfectly natural expressions of our sexual physiology during our sleep – all driven by REM sleep, blood flow and brain-body reponses. Sadly, there's no secret hack to train yourself to have a nocturnal orgasm. I know, I know, it's very sad. More Trending To be frank, Dr Patel says it's not a one-size-fits-all answer. 'Things like hormonal levels, stress, sleep quality and even pelvic floor sensitivity, all play roles,' she adds. 'Some people might not even wake up when orgasming – or remember it – so it could also go unnoticed.' View More » That's a darn shame. Do you have a story to share?
