Special rituals were performed to the deities at the Kalyana Mandapam which were followed by the ceremonious conduct of Snapana Thirumanjanam amid chanting of Vedic hymns. In the evening, the deities were adorned with the Vajrakavacham (diamond-studded armor) and later taken out around the temple in a grand procession. The deities will be adorned in Muthyala kavacham (pearl armor) on Tuesday and Swarna Kavacham (gold armor) on on Wednesday marking the conclusion of the fete.
