Coach composition revised for Godavari Express, Rayagada Express
The composition of Godavari Express and Rayagada Express will be revised to ensure better services to passengers. Train no. 12728 Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam Godavari Express will run with revised composition, effective from September 29. In the return direction, 12727 Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad Godavari Express will run with revised composition from September 30. These trains will have 22 coaches comprising a first class AC, three II-tier AC, six III-tier AC, six sleeper, four general second class, a second class cum luggage (Divyangjan) coachand one generator motor car, according to K. Saandeep, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division. Similarly, train no. 17243 Guntur-Rayagada Express will run with the revised composition from October 1. In the return direction, train no. 17244 Rayagada-Guntur Express will run with revised composition, effective from October 2. As per the revised composition, these trains will have 20 coaches comprising three III-tier AC, 12 sleeper class, three general second class and two second class-cum-luggage (Divyangjan) coaches.

Train services on Koraput-Kirandul line back on track
Train services on the Koraput–Kirandul line under Waltair Division will operate as per schedule, according to Mr K. Saandeep, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager. The following trains will run normally: Train no. 18515 Visakhapatnam - Kirandul Night Express with effect from July 30, 18516 Kirandul - Visakhapatnam Night Express, leaving from Kirandul with effect from July 31, train no. 58501 Visakhapatnam - Kirandul Passenger, leaving from Visakhapatnam with effect from July 31, train no. 58502 Kirandul - Visakhapatnam Passenger, leaving from Kirandul will run normally with effect from August 1. Similarly, 18005 Howrah-Jagdalpur Samaleswari Express, leaving from Howrah will run normally with effect from July 30, 18006 Jagdalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express, leaving from Jagdalpur will run normally with effect from August 1, 18107 Rourkela – Jagdalpur Intercity Express, leaving Rourkela will run normally with effect from July 30, 18108 Jagdalpur-Rourkela Intercity Express, leaving from Jagdalpur will run normally with effect from July 31, 18447 Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express, leaving from Bhubaneswar will run normally with effect from July 30, 18448 Jagdalpur - Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express, leaving from Jagdalpur will run normally with effect from July 31, 08502 Kirandul-Jeypore Passenger Special, leaving from Kirandul on July 31 will run up to Visakhapatnam on the same timing and train no. 58502 passenger will remain cancelled on July 31.

Some trains to be cancelled to facilitate commissioning of 3rd line between Vijayawada and Gudur
Due to Non-Interlocking (NI) works being taken up for the commissioning of the third line between Vijayawada and Gudur in the Vijayawada Division, several train services will be affected in mid-August. Train No. 22707 Visakhapatnam–Tirupati Double Decker Express, scheduled to depart Visakhapatnam on August 14, 16, and 18, will be cancelled. Similarly, Train No. 22708 Tirupati–Visakhapatnam Double Decker Express, leaving Tirupati on August 13, 15, and 17, will also remain cancelled. In addition, four trains will run on diverted routes, eight trains will be regulated, and two trains will be rescheduled during this period, according to K. Saandeep, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division.

Puri Rath yatra: East Coast Railway announces special trains
East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced special trains between Visakhapatnam-Puri-Visakhapatnam, Jagdalpur-Puri-Jagdalpur and Rayagada-Khurda Road-Rayagada for the ensuing Rath Yatra-2025 (Car festival) of Sri Jagannath Swamy at Puri. The special trains are: 08313 Visakhapatnam-Puri special train via Haripurgram, Arugul will leave Visakhapatnam at 00.45 hours on June 27 and on July 5 (past midnight of June 26 and July 4) and will reach Puri on the same day at 12 noon. In the return direction, 08314 Puri -Visakhapatnam special train will leave Puri at 2.15 a.m. (early hours of June 28 and July 6) to arrive in Visakhapatnam on the same day at 1 p.m., according to K. Saandeep, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division. The special train will have stoppages at Simhachalam, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Chipurupalli, Ponduru, Srikakulam Road, Tilaru, Kotabommali, Naupada, Palasa, Mandasa, Sompeta, Ichapuram, Brahmapur, Chatrapur, Ganjam, Huma, Rambha, Khallikote, Chilika, Balugaon, Gangadharpur,Kuhuri, Kaluparaghat, Bhushandpur, Nirakarpur, Kaipadar Road, Arugul, Haripurgram, Motari, Kanas Road, Delang, Jenapur Road, Birpurushottampur, Sakhigophal, Janakideipur and Malatipatpur. Composition: Sleeper-4, General Second Class-6, Second class-cum-Divyangjan-cum-luggage coaches-2. Jagdalpur-Puri Train no. 08445 Jagdalpur-Puri Special via Haripurgram, Argul will leave Jagdalpur on June 26 and July 4 at 9 a.m. and will reach Puri at 1.15 a.m. (past midnight). In the return direction, 08446 Puri-Jagdalpur special will leave Puri at 00:45 hours on June 28 and July 6 and will reach Jagdalpur on the same day at 4.45 p.m. Stoppages: Amagura, Kotpar Road, Jeypore, Chhatariput, Koraput, Damanjodi, Lakshmipur Road, Tikiri, Singapur Road, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Vizianagaram,Chipurupalli, Srikakulam Road, Naupada, Palasa, Mandasa, Sompeta, Ichapuram, Brahmapur, Chatrapur, Khallikot, Balugaon, Nirakarpur, Kaipadar Road, Arugul, Haripurgram, Motari, Kanas Road, Delang, Jenapur Road, Birpurushottampur, Sakhigophal, Janakideipur and Malatipatpur. Rayagada-Khurda Road Train no. 08593 Rayagada-Khurda Road special will leave Rayagada at 11 a.m. on June 26 and July 4 to reach Khurda Road at 11.55 p.m. on the same day. In the return direction, 08594 Khurda Road-Rayagada will leave Khurda Road at 1 a.m. on June 28 and July 6 to reach Rayagada at 3 p.m. on the same day. Several trains short-terminated, cancelled to facilitate works
Five trains originating from or terminating at Visakhapatnam have been cancelled on June 2 and another on June 3 to facilitate the Pre-Non-Interlock & Non-Interlock works in the Rayagada-Vizianagaram section of Waltair Railway Division. The trains that have been cancelled on June 2 are 58538 Visakhapatnam-Koraput Passenger, 58537 Koraput- Visakhapatnam Passenger, 18512 Visakhapatnam-Koraput Bi-Weekly Express, 58528 Visakhapatnam- Raipur Passenger and 58527 Raipur- Visakhapatnam Passenger. Train no. 18511 Koraput- Visakhapatnam Bi-Weekly Express has been cancelled on June 3, according to K. Saandeep, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager. Meanwhile, train no. 17243 Guntur-Rayagada Express, scheduled to leave Guntur on June 1, will be short-terminated in Vizianagaram, and 17244 Rayagada-Guntur Express will leave from Vizianagaram instead of Rayagada on June 2. Rescheduled services Train no. 20830 Visakhapatnam-Durg Vande Bharat Express has been rescheduled and it will leave Visakhapatnam at 6.50 p.m. on June 2, instead of its scheduled departure at 2.50 p.m. Train number 20829 Durg - Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express has been rescheduled to leave Durg at 10.15 a.m. on June 2, instead of its scheduled departure at 5.45 a.m. Train no. 18190 Ernakulam-Tata Express, scheduled to leave Ernakulam on June 1 will leave at 10.15 a.m. instead of its scheduled departure at 7.15 a.m. Train no. 13352 Alappuzha-Dhanbad Express, scheduled to leave Alappuzha on June 1, will depart at 8 a.m., instead of its scheduled departure at 6 a.m. The railway authorities have urged the passengers to take a note of the changes and plan their journey accordingly.
