ARISH, EGYPT: The first relief plane belonging to Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KCRS) arrived on Sunday in Egypt's Al-Arish Airport, carrying 10 tons of food supplies to alleviate the suffering of civilians in Gaza, amid a devastating humanitarian crisis.
Kuwait Ambassador to Egypt, Ghanim Al-Ghanim, in a statement to KUNA, thanked His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah for their guidance and response to the tragedy in Gaza Strip.
Al-Ghanim also expressed his gratitude and thanks to the Kuwaiti people for their constant support of their Palestinian brothers, especially in light of the difficult circumstances they are currently experiencing. The Ambassador added that 'the urgent relief supplies to our Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip are the result of a call launched by the Kuwaiti government, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs and charitable societies in the State of Kuwait, to operate an air-bridge to provide relief and support to Palestinians.' — KUNA
