Popular Gym Suddenly Closes Multiple Locations

Members of a popular gym were left in disbelief after it closed two locations due to "unforeseen circumstances" late last month. Several members of two Gold's Gym locations in El Paso, TX had no idea their gym would be closing when the doors were locked. Signs on the doors cited those "unforeseen circumstances" though it's unclear if there was an advanced warning for gym goers. "So that kind of is a huge shock," one gym member told KFox14. "What are we supposed to do? Who are we supposed to talk to? I mean, I don't want to make a payment for something that nobody told us." Another member of the gym was furious with the lack of communication regarding the gym's closing, suggesting there was no email or notice from the gym. "I check my email every morning and there's no email and nothing on social media. Nothing to let us know, give us a warning. So, just a total surprise," the member said at the time. Gold's Gym eventually did comment on the sudden closure, posting a statement to their Instagram account. "Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to close our Gold's Gym locations in El Paso. We are deeply grateful to have been part of this community for so many years and sincerely thank each of you for your support, as well as the incredible team members who made up the Gold's Gym family. "If you need to file any claims, please direct them to the appropriate trustee using the case number for your location: Tierra Este: Case No. 25-30517-cgb. Eastlake: Case No. 25-30518-cgb. Thank you again for allowing us to serve you." Gold's Gym has more than 200 locations around the United States and over 700 around the world.
