Manipur: Sanatan Sammelan to be held in Imphal

Imphal, May 24 (UNI) Sanatan Sammelan 2025 will be held in Imphal on Sunday to be attended by His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Amritananda Devtirth Maharaj of Shrimad Sharda Sarvagya Pitham , Jammu and Kashmir. The KRC Foundation, Barak-Manipur Friendship Association are organizing the event at Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS), Palace Compound Imphal. This spiritually significant event is being organized on the inspiring theme of "Peace, Progress and Prosperity", aiming to foster unity, cultural resurgence, and harmony among different communities residing in Manipur according to the organisers. His Holiness will also attend the Sandhya Aarti at Shree Shree Govindaji Temple. A Think Tank with various intellectuals and spiritual leaders of the State and from other parts of the country will also be held in the evening. During his visit to Manipur, His Holiness will inaugurate the Pranth office of Shrimad Jagadguru Sharda Sarvagya Pitham at Thangmeiband, Imphal further strengthening the spiritual and cultural bonds in the region. In addition to the Sammelan, His Holiness will visit the historic INA Memorial and interact with residents at selected relief camps on the following day, reflecting his deep concern for national heritage and humanitarian values.
