Sanatan Dharm Vidyalaya wins powerlifting match
Kanpur: Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Sanatan Dharm Vidyalaya claimed the overall championship in the powerlifting event of the Youth Olympics held here on Wednesday. Gaurav Memorial international school and Oxford Model School secured second and third place respectively.

138 boys and girls participated in the power lifting competition, which took place at Seth Moti Lal Khedia Sanatan Dharm inter college.
In Basketball, Purna Chandra Vidya Niketan is set to face Jugul Devi Saraswati viya Mandir school in the first semi final of the event, taking place at Nurture school. The second semi final will see DPS Azad Nagar competing against KV IIT.
During the quarter final round, Jugul Devi Saraswati Vidya Mandir defeated Sanatan Dharm Education Ccentre by 17-04, Purna Chandra Vidya Niketan beat Bhagwanti Education Centre by 45-08, DPS Azad Nagar defeated Scholar Mission by 25-20, and KV IIT won against Virendra Swarup Shyam Nagar by 26-22.
