Bhopal: State capital is awash in patriotic hues as the city prepares to celebrate the 79th Independence Day. From illuminated govt buildings to spirited rallies and cultural showcases, the state capital has transformed into a vibrant canvas of saffron, white, and green.
The city's skyline glows with Tricolour lighting, casting a festive aura over intersections, public squares, and cultural institutions. Bike rallies roared through the streets, with riders waving the national flag and chanting slogans of unity and pride. These spontaneous displays of patriotism have drawn large crowds, turning thoroughfares into corridors of celebration.
Adding to the fervoUr, the SBI Bhopal Circle marked the occasion with a spirited tribute to the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
Employees and officials urged citizens to proudly display the national flag and uphold the ideals of freedom, integrity, and responsibility.
In a unique blend of agriculture and artistry, Agriculture students at the Higher Education Excellence Institute created a Tricolour rangoli using pulses—green moong, urad, and masoor dal—symbolizing the colours of the national flag.
The initiative not only showcased creative expression but also highlighted Madhya Pradesh's agricultural heritage and commitment to sustainable farming.

Meanwhile, a private university in Jatkhedi hosted a historic Tiranga Rally at its campus, where students and faculty marched in unison, waving flags and singing patriotic songs. The lush green surroundings of the university added a serene backdrop to the spirited procession.
CSIR-AMPRI also joined the celebrations by organizing a series of competitions for children of staff members, including fancy dress, poetry, singing, colouring, quizzes, and essay writing.
