Get to Know Your Orange Man: #77, OL Kam Pringle
It's time to start preparing for the 2025 Syracuse Orange football season. We're going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 2 of the Fran Brown Era.

Name: Kam Pringle
Position: Offensive line
Year: Redshirt freshman
Height: 6'8'
Weight: 335 lbs.
Hometown: Dorchester, SC
High School/Previous College: Woodland High School
2024 stats: Appeared in one game with South Carolina, then redshirted the rest of the season.
2025 projections: Pringle is in the top-five candidates among offensive players to break out for the Orange. He's a high-upside transfer with plenty of size. Pringle is also quite versatile — he played tackle in high school, but his six snaps with the Gamecocks came as a guard. He's certainly part of an interesting camp battle in the trenches, and I wouldn't be surprised if he emerged as the starter at some point this year.
How'd he get here?: Originally committed to South Carolina in January 2023 over offers from Clemson, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan, Penn State and a handful of other Power 4 schools. Later committed to the Orange as a transfer in April.
What'd recruiting sites say?: Four-star on 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals as a recruit; three-star on 247Sports and ESPN as a transfer. 247Sports has him ranked as a top-25 transfer interior offensive lineman.
