Tyreece Simpson's St Kitts and Nevis take on Grenada, for whom Kane Vincent-Young is expected to feature again in a CONCACAF World Cup qualifier. Advertisement Simpson made his international debut for St Kitts and Nevis. But the former Colchester loanee suffered disappointment, after they lost 6-2 to Dwight Yorke's Trinidad and Tobago in their latest qualifier. Simpson, who played for the U's on loan from Stevenage in the 2024-25 season, played for just over an hour of the game and provided the assist for G'Vaune Amory's strike. Levi Garcia gave Trinidad and Tobago an early lead at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Mucurapo but Amory equalised, in the 27th minute. The academy starlets from U's talent factory set to shine next season Dante Sealy quickly restored Trinidad and Tobago's lead but Tiquanny Williams' 45th-minute equaliser got St Kitts back on level terms at half-time. Advertisement However, a Kevin Molino penalty put Trinidad and Tobago ahead for a third time, early in the second half. And further goals from Sealy, Ajani Fortune and Nathaniel James sealed Trinidad and Tobago's win. The result leaves St Kitts and Nevis in fourth place in their World Cup qualifying Group B, after three games. The former Ipswich Town youngster, who made 20 league appearances for the U's in the 2024-25 season, is set to come up against his former Colchester team-mate Vincent-Young, who helped Grenada to a 6-0 win over Bahamas in their World Cup qualifier. Vincent-Young played the full 90 minutes in the game, which took place at Kirani James National Stadium.
