Actor Rukmini Vasanth will be a part of the much-awaited film 'Kantara: Chapter 1'. On Friday, a new poster featuring the actor in a traditional outfit was released on social media. Actor Rishab Shetty announced the addition of Rukmini to the cast on X (formerly known as Twitter).Shetty's post on X read, "Introducing @rukminitweets as 'Kanakavathi' from the world of #KantaraChapter1. The original film was a blockbuster and earned over Rs 400 crore worldwide. Made on a budget of Rs 16 crore, the film is directed by Rishab Shetty and features him. Shetty won the National Award for Best Actor for 'Kantara'.The film is set in the fictional village of Dakshina Kannada. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, Rishab Shetty shared new posters starring Rukmini in traditional outfit. Rukmini Vasanth and Rishab Shetty will star together in Kantara Chapter 1. Rukmini Vasanth joins Kantara Chapter 1 In the poster, Rukmini wore a green and red saree along with heavy jewellery. She smiled as she stood inside a palace.
