As reported by the news agency IANS, personnel from the Mumbai police visited Kapil's Mumbai residence on Friday, following which his security has been beefed up. Moreover, it remains unclear if Kapil will resume shooting for his ongoing The Great Indian Kapil Show. A source cited by the news agency claimed that Kapil is yet to decide if he will go to the shoot of his Netflix show in Filmcity. More details are awaited. Authorities believe that the attack was a targeted strike by the Laddi gang linked to the banned Khalistani terrorist outfit Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). Laddi is wanted in India for multiple terror-related offences and is alleged to be the mastermind behind several recent attacks on Hindu leaders and pro-India figures. Kapil Sharma Yet To Break Silence On The Incident While Kapil Sharma has not issued any statement as of now regarding the incident, the Kap's Caffe team issued a statement on Friday which said, 'We opened Kap's Caffe with hopes of bringing warmth, community, and joy through delicious coffee and friendly conversation. To have violence intersect with that dream is heartbreaking. We are processing this shock, but we are not giving up." The statement also thanked patrons for their support during this difficult time. 'Your kind words, prayers, and memories shared via DM mean more than you know. This café exists because of your belief in what we're building together," it added.
