Emotional Khloe Kardashian supports ex Tristan Thompson's disabled brother at his dance recital

Khloe Kardashian marked a major milestone for ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson 's disabled brother Amari Thompson over the weekend. The 18-year-old younger sibling of the NBA star, 34, suffers from a rare form of Epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS) and requires full-time care. Tristan became Amari's legal guardian when their mom Andrea died of a heart attack in January 2023. The Kardashian-Jenner clan — who featured Amari's birthday on their Hulu show in April — has similarly welcomed the teen into their everyday lives. On Saturday Khloe, 40, shared outtakes from Amari's dance recital, gushing, 'I am so proud of this young man.' Via Instagram Stories she posted a video clip of him on stage with his peers and their dance teachers, writing, 'Amari is so so happy.' On Saturday Khloe, 40, shared outtakes from Amari's dance recital, gushing, 'I am so proud of this young man,' and that he is 'so, so happy' Khloe's mother Kris Jenner, 69, was also present for the dance recital. She appeared alongside her third-born child and Amari in two smiley photos, dressed in a red sweatsuit with black and white Nike sneakers. The matriarch, who has fans speculating over her youthful, rejuvenated look, added glamorous black sunglasses and slicked her signature short haircut behind her ears with a stylish side part. Khloe wore a coordinating sweatsuit as well — hers black — which included a zip-up hoodie. In an early April episode of The Kardashians, Kris became teary-eyed as Amari suffered a seizure at his 18th birthday party thrown by Khloe. The festive occasion took a serious turn while when Kris and Khloe chatted with Amari's full-time caretakers Noel Rojas and Alba Flores. The seizure wasn't shown on camera, but the 'momager' was driven to tears after witnessing the medical emergency for the first time. Kardashian helped calm her mom down, and letter said in a confessional interview, 'Amari will never be a burden or any of that. Amari is one of the most special souls I have ever met.' She added, 'When you meet someone who's so wonderful, and something so terrible happens to them, you do want to help, you do want to fix it and be there as much as you can, and I think my mom feels the exact same way. She has such a connection to Amari.' Amid Thompson's seizures, which Khloe said happen regularly, he was safe in the hands of his round-the-lock medical professionals. Khloe noted on the show, 'When Amari's having a seizure, I know how to stay calm. I'm around Amari a lot, I've seen a lot of seizures. 'He has multiple seizures a day, I know what to do in these situations, but someone who hasn't been exposed to that and hasn't seen that, it can be very scary, and it's a very helpless feeling.' She paid tribute to her children's uncle via Instagram on his birthday last July. 'Happy 18th Birthday sweet angel Amari!! 'I can't believe you are 18! You have changed our lives in the best possible ways! Thank you for being an angel to us all! 'You are the sweetest, silliest and most loving young man. I hope you feel how much we love and adore you our sweet angel Amari,' the mother-of-two wrote. Khloe and Tristan share daughter True, seven, and son Tatum, three. They are co-parents and have not been romantically involved for several years following a tumultuous relationship during which Tristan was caught in multiple cheating scandals.

‘I have babies': Kim Kardashian testifies about her terror in Paris robbery trial

Kim Kardashian waves as she arrives to testify regarding a robbery of millions of dollars in jewels from her Paris hotel room in 2016, in Paris, Tuesday, May 13, 2025. (AP Photo/Aurelien Morissard) PARIS — Kim Kardashian said a silent prayer -- for her sister, her best friend, her family -- as a masked man pulled her toward him in a Paris hotel room during the 2016 jewelry heist that changed her life. She was wearing only a bathrobe. Her hands were zip-tied. Her mouth was taped. She thought she wouldn't survive. 'I was certain that was the moment that he was going to rape me,' she told a Paris court Tuesday. 'I absolutely did think I was going to die.' When she heard footsteps thundering up the stairs that night, Kardashian said she first thought it was her sister Kourtney and a friend returning from a night out. The noise got louder. 'Hello? Hello? Who is it?' she called out. Moments later, her door flew open. She begged the robbers: 'I have babies,' she said. One replied that she would be OK if she stayed quiet. The last time Kardashian saw the men that police say robbed her, she was bound at gunpoint and locked in a marble bathroom while masked assailants stole more than $6 million in jewelry. On Tuesday, nearly a decade later, she faced them again from the witness stand. Her testimony marked the emotional climax of a trial that has gripped France and reignited global debates about the cost of fame and what it means to live -- and nearly die -- in public. At the time of the robbery, Kardashian was one of the most recognized women on the planet. A fashion icon. A reality star. A billionaire business mogul. She had mastered a new kind of celebrity -- one broadcast in real time, post by post, to millions of followers. But in the early hours of Oct. 3, 2016, that visibility became a weapon against her. The robbery marked a turning point for Kardashian, and for how the world understood vulnerability in the digital age. Dressed in black, Kardashian on Tuesday stood across from her mother, Kris Jenner, in the heavily secured courtroom. Her voice trembled as she thanked French authorities for 'allowing me to share my truth.' She described how the attackers arrived at her hotel disguised as police officers, dragging the concierge upstairs in handcuffs. 'I thought it was some sort of terrorist attack,' she said. They tied her hands, dragged her toward the bathtub and pointed a gun at her temple. One gestured at her diamond ring. 'He said, `Ring! Ring!' and he pointed to his hand,' she recalled. French prosecutors say the assailants -- most in their 60s and 70s -- were part of a seasoned criminal ring that tracked Kardashian's movements through her Instagram posts. Two of the defendants have admitted being at the scene. One claims he didn't know who she was. Twelve suspects were originally charged. One has since died. Another was excused due to illness. The French press dubbed the group les papys braqueurs -- 'the grandpa robbers' -- but prosecutors insist they were no harmless retirees. Kardashian, who once shared nearly every moment of her life online, later acknowledged the dangers of that hyper-visibility. 'People were watching,' she said in a 2021 interview. 'They knew what I had. They knew where I was.' Earlier in the trial, Kardashian's childhood friend and then stylist, Simone Harouche, testified that she had been sleeping downstairs when the robbery began. She heard Kardashian's voice: ''I have babies and I need to live.' That is what she kept on saying, 'Take everything. I need to live.'' Kardashian, she said, was 'screaming with terror in her voice.' Harouche locked herself in the bathroom and texted Kourtney Kardashian and the bodyguard: 'Something is very wrong.' Later, she heard Kardashian hopping down the stairs with her ankles still bound. 'She was beside herself,' Harouche said. 'She just was screaming.' Harouche testified that the robbery 'forever' changed her friend's sense of freedom. 'She now has a completely different lifestyle,' she said. 'In terms of security, she can't go alone, she doesn't go alone to places anymore. To lose your sense of freedom ... it's horrible.' Judge David De Pas asked whether Kardashian had made herself a target by posting photos of herself with 'jewels of great value.' Harouche rejected the premise. 'Just because a woman wears jewelry, that doesn't make her a target,' she said. 'That's like saying that because a woman wears a short skirt that she deserves to be raped.' In the days after the robbery, critics like designer Karl Lagerfeld questioned whether Kardashian had shared too much. But as the details emerged, public sentiment began to shift. In the aftermath, Kardashian withdrew from public life. She developed anxiety and symptoms of agoraphobia. 'I hated to go out,' she said. 'I didn't want anybody to know where I was ... I just had such anxiety.' Kardashian's lawyers say she is 'particularly grateful' to French authorities -- and ready to confront those who attacked her. Kim Kardashian in court live: Reality star to give evidence in her Paris robbery trial

The robbery in Kim Kardashian's words Image source, Getty Images Kim Kardashian has spoken several times about the armed robbery since it happened in 2016. She first addressed it on her family's reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, a year after it happened. "I heard pounding up the stairs,' she tells her sisters in the episode, and then described looking outside her door. 'I saw two guys holding another guy down in police uniforms right outside of my bedroom.' At the time, her bodyguard was at a club with Kim's sisters Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian. The men used a receptionist to gain entry to the star's room. A man came in and threw her on the bed, she explained. In a later interview with US chat show host David Letterman, she said the men kept shouting at her asking for jewellery. She handed it to them and was then pulled towards one of the men. Since the ordeal, she has spoken several times about being scared to be alone.

Kim Kardashian to testify against ‘Grandpa Robbers' gang who tied her up at gunpoint as she begged for life in Paris

KIM Kardashian is set to face her "grandpa robbers" in court - marking a highly-anticipated appearance nearly a decade after the million-dollar heist. Ten suspects have been on trial since last month over the 2016 gunpoint mugging which saw the celebrity A-lister lose $10million (£7.5m) worth of jewellery in Paris. 12 12 12 12 The landmark trial has gained widespread media attention - which will only soar even further after the influencer makes her much-awaited appearance. Her lawyers said last week that she was finally ready to "confront" her alleged attackers. French lawyer Leonor Hennerick and Jonathan Mattout said: "She is committed to attending in person." They added that she would go in with " dignity and courage". The reality star previously said of the raid: 'I thought they were terrorists who had come to kidnap me, I thought I was going to die.' Kim K is set to take the stand at 2pm local time. She is currently studying law in California, and has stayed away from the beginning of the trial at the Paris Assizes. The 'heist of the century' trial started on April 28 and came nine years after the reality star had $10million (£7.5m) worth of jewellery stolen - including her $4million (£3m) engagement ring. Kim was left pleading for her life during the attack after they bound her hands and feet, and taped her mouth - known as sausaging someone in French. They then carried her to the bathtub wearing only her dressing gown. The terrifying ordeal led to the Kardashian family changing how much they share of their lavish lifestyles on social media. The elderly gang - now in their 60s and 70s - had been inspired by Kim's flashy posts online showing off her bling and had been allegedly tipped off by a chauffeur that she was alone in her secluded hotel room in the 8th arrondissement during Fashion Week. It was supposed to be one final job for the veteran robbers who each had a string of convictions. They claimed to not know who the social media influencer was but instead demanded the concierge take them to 'the rapper's wife'. 12 12 12 One defendant said he only realised the scale of her celebrity when his wife was watching the news about the raid on TV the next morning. Having pointed a gun at Kim while forcing her to hand over the jewels they made a clumsy escape on foot and by bike, leaving behind a £30,000 diamond necklace in the street, cable ties covered in DNA, and their fingerprints all over the apartment. While they argued about how to split to loot and sell it onto Belgian diamond experts on the terrace of a bistro, top French cops had enlisted the help of the FBI to track them down and had already bugged their phones. None of the jewels have ever been recovered with many believed to have been melted down and sold in Antwerp. Her diamond engagement ring from her marriage to Kanye West was believed to be too distinctive to fleece. Police believe that Kim 's chauffeur's brother was in on the heist but the burglars argue that everything they needed to carry out the raid was posted online publicly. 12 12 Their trial had been delayed by Covid and by a backlog of high profile cases in the French justice system. Of the 10 people being tried, five are on trial for armed robbery and kidnap charges while the rest are on for complicity in the heist or possession of a weapon. On May 2, the court heard that the only female member of the gang accused of robbing the TV star at gunpoint could not be guilty 'because attacking a woman isn't one of her principles'. One member Yunice Abbas, 71, is expected to apologise to Kardashian in court having already penned a memoir titled 'I kidnapped Kim Kardashian'. What happened to Kim Kardashian? by Harvey Geh Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, 2016, marking the biggest robbery of an individual in France for more than 20 years. At the time the reality icon was in the French capital for Paris Fashion Week with her former husband Kanye West - before the rapper returned to the US to pick up his Saint Pablo tour. Now left in Paris along with her sister Kourtney and various other entourage members, Kardashian stayed in an exclusive set of apartments so secret they are dubbed the No Address Hotel. The penthouse suite Kardashian was staying in at the chic Hotel de Pourtalès - which is popular with celebrity A-listers - costs an eye-watering £13,000 per night. On the evening of October 3, after the star had attended a fashion show with her sister, Kardashian decided to stay in the apartment alone while the rest of her crew - including bodyguard Pascal Duvier - went out for the night. At around 2:30am, three armed men donning ski masks and dressed as police burst into the apartment block and threatened the concierge at gunpoint. Two of them are alleged to have forced the concierge to take them to the reality icon's suite - with the worker later telling police that they yelled: "Where's the rapper's wife?" Kardashian said she was "dozing" on her bed at the time, after uploading social media posts telling viewers that she was home alone, which she believes gave the robbers a "window of opportunity". The star said the robbers grabbed her, tied her up with plastic cables and taped her mouth and legs before dropping her in the bathtub. Before locking her in the bathroom they had held her at gunpoint and demanded specifically for her ring and also money. Cops said the robbers left the room after seizing the jewels and escaped on bikes - while carrying a haul estimated to be worth about $10million including a $4million 18.88-carat diamond engagement ring from West. Kardashian said she then managed to free herself from the restraints and rushed to help. He fled on his bike, spilling the loot on the floor as he fell over in the rush. Marceau Baum-Gertner - nicknamed Rough Diamond - died aged 72 just days before the trial was due to start. Aomar Ait Khedache - known as Old Omar - has written a letter to Kim from jail apologising for the trauma he caused. Most of the ageing defendants are expected to receive lengthy jail sentences if found guilty. 12

Khloe Kardashian breaks Mother's Day tradition with ‘stupid' gift as Kim appears to snub her mom with no present

KHLOE Kardashian has seemingly broken a Mother's Day tradition in the Kardashian-Jenner family. Kris Jenner is a doting mom, momager and grandmother who has six children: Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner. 8 8 8 8 Not only does Kris have six kids, but she has 13 grandchildren, too. And because of her huge family and the way in which she is dedicated to each and every member, Kris got well and truly spoiled on Mother's Day. Taking to her Instagram stories over the weekend, Kris shared snapshots from her lavish celebrations. Showing off the gifts she received from loved ones, Kris proudly posted snaps of each of the flower arrangements she received. Kendall, Kylie, Rob and Kourtney all bought their mom a beautiful flower arrangement - with both Khloe and Kim seemingly breaking this tradition. Kris failed to share what Kim had gotten her for Mother's Day, but did share what Khloe surprised her with. Instead of buying flowers like the majority of her siblings, Khloe opted for a fancier present. Kris shared a video of the gift and said how Khloe had bought her a "custom Martini kit for her car". "It might just be the best Mother's Day gift known to man, from of course, my bunny Khloe," Kris said in the video. 'STUPID GIFT' Fans quickly flocked to the comments section of a Reddit post about the video Kris shared, with many commenting on the "stupid" gift. Khloe Kardashian looks unrecognizable as she exposes her real stomach in rare, totally unedited pic with True, 5 "This is so stupid," fumed one person. "For her car? So we promote drinking in your car? I know Kris likely doesn't drive, but this is still irresponsible," said another. A third then added: "Kris you're 70. Grow up, thanks." While a fourth penned: "So inappropriate on so many levels." All About Kris Jenner Kris Jenner is the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family, who rose to fame with her six children after starring on the E! reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Here's what Kris has been up to: Kris was first married to the late Robert Kardashian, famously known as O.J. Simpson's defense attorney in his 1995 murder trial. They shared four children: daughters, Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe, and a son, Robert The former couple were married from 1978 until 1991. Following their divorce, Kris tied the knot with former Olympian, Bruce Jenner, who also appeared on KUWTK. The pair shared two daughters, Kendall and Kylie. They split in 2015, around the time that Bruce transitioned and changed her name to Caitlyn. Kris met her current boyfriend, Corey Gamble, in August 2014, and they have been together ever since. Kris manages her daughters' widely-successful careers and they've continued their reality TV run with The Kardashians on Hulu, shortly after KUWTK ended. And a fifth said: "Tasteless, as usual." KIM'S GIFT SNUB Although Kim appeared to snub her mom on the gift front, she did happen to share a sweet post about her. Kim rang in the day alongside her mom, Kris , and her grandmother, Mary Jo 'MJ' Shannon, in a sweet snap. "Happy Mother's Day to all the mommy's," Kim said in the caption. In the adorable photo, the three women could be seen smiling with Chicago and Psalm either side of them in their pyjamas. 8 8
