Former WWE Superstar Shares Roman Reigns' Brutal Advice on Contract Negotiations
Karl Anderson recently shared that Roman Reigns once gave honest advice to a fellow WWE star who was unhappy with his travel situation. Roman Reigns, who has been a top WWE name for more than 10 years, has taken on a lighter schedule since 2022. He hasn't appeared on TV since RAW after WrestleMania 41, but reports suggest he may return soon. Advertisement Even though some fans have criticized his limited appearances, Reigns earned his current position through years of hard work and by carrying the company for over a decade. Recently, former WWE Superstar Karl Anderson shared a story about Reigns giving straightforward advice to a wrestler who was unhappy about travel issues. Karl Anderson also looked back on his early days in Bullet Club, admitting he didn't make much from merchandise because it wasn't part of his contract. On Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw, Anderson recalled the story of Roman Reigns' straight advice. 'I've heard people complain about contract stuff, complain about merch, complain about plane flights, or complain about money. As I've gotten older and grown, I've realized that if you want something, you have to get it put in your contract or you gotta stop complaining about it. I remember one time we were on a flight with Roman and someone was bitching about a flight and Roman literally said at the baggage claim, 'Either get it written into your contract or quit bitching.' Damn. Good point, Roman.' The Good Brothers Return To NJPW Confirmed
The Good Brothers are back. Tomorrow night, The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) are slated to take on the Bullet Club War Dogs (Gabe Kidd, David Finlay, Clark Connors and Gedo) at NJPW Resurgence, which emanates from Ontario, California. Alongside The Young Bucks will be a familiar duo now confirmed by New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Advertisement Per NJPW's Twitter/X, The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) will join forces with The Young Bucks at the Resurgence event, marking the former pair's first match following their recent release from WWE. In general, Resurgence signals the quartet's first encounter since September 2021, when they took on Jurassic Express and the Lucha Brothers on AEW Dynamite. The Good Brothers aren't coming back for a 're-debut' According to The Good Brothers, their return to NJPW isn't just a return, but rather, an entire takeover. 'New Japan Pro-Wrestling fans, you are not just witnessing history,' said Anderson in an ominous video package. Advertisement 'What you're witnessing here today, my friends, it is not a re-debut,' Gallows continued. 'It is not an arrival shot, it is a resurrection. It is the resurgence of the Good Brothers.' 'And May 9th is day one at Resurgence. You are witnessing a total takeover,' Anderson finished. Fightful Select reports that Gallows and Anderson struck a deal with NJPW a while ago, though it couldn't be promoted due to the non-compete clause attached to their WWE release. Anderson had previously been sidelined with a torn rotator cuff and a torn labrum.
