KCET Counselling 2025: Round one seat allotment list out at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
KCET Counselling 2025: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the final seat allotment results for Round 1 of the Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET or KCET) 2025 counselling process. Candidates who participated in the counselling can now check their allotted seats by visiting the official website — To access their results, they must enter their CET number and date of birth on the portal. The KCET 2025 seat allotment results pertain to admissions into various undergraduate programmes across Karnataka, including BE, BTech, BArch, BPharm, and select BSc courses. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round of counselling have multiple options to proceed. Those satisfied with their seat can confirm it using the 'freeze' option. Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 of the KCET 2025 counselling must first complete the online fee payment and download the confirmation slip to accept their seat. Once this is done, they are required to submit their original documents—along with the confirmation slip—to the respective institute for verification. Following successful verification and admission confirmation by the college, students will be able to download their admission order. Alternatively, students seeking a better opportunity may opt for seat upgradation in the upcoming rounds. In this case, the 'float' option allows them to hold on to their current seat while remaining eligible for an upgrade. On the other hand, the 'slide' option enables candidates to seek changes within the same course and institution — but the originally allocated seat will not be retained if they choose this route in subsequent counselling rounds. KCET 2025 was held from April 15 to April 17. On the first day, the KEA conducted the KCET Kannada language test from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. The KCET physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology papers were conducted on April 16 and 17 in two shifts. To stay updated on the counselling procedure, dates, and admission procedures, candidates should regularly check the official KEA website, The counselling process involves document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to allotted institutes, with admissions based on merit and candidate preferences.
