Trigg
was alone for over nine minutes.
He was pulled from the water, but despite desperate rescue efforts, he died days later, leaving his family and neighbours shattered.

Officers said Brady first claimed Trigg was left alone for about five minutes, but footage revealed it was longer than ten minutes. 'I didn't have a clock, obviously… it wasn't minutes, it was moments,' Brady told police in his initial statement. Detectives wrote that his version of events did not match what was seen on video and concluded he 'was not watching Trigg at all during the critical times.'
The report also revealed that the family owned a pool safety net called a Katchakid, which was usually in place.

It had been removed recently so the pool could be used and was not replaced before the drowning. Chandler Police stated: 'The combination of these factors led to drowning, and a remedy to any of the contributing circumstances could have prevented the outcome.'
According to the report, there was no evidence that Brady saw Trigg in the pool and failed to act; instead, police said he immediately tried to help when he noticed his son.
First responders transported Trigg to Chandler Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on May 18.

On May 12, Chandler Police in Arizona investigated the drowning of 3-year-old Trigg Kiser at his family's home. According to an official report obtained by People and made public on August 8, the child's father, 28-year-old Brady Kiser, was looking after both Trigg and his newborn son, Theodore, while his wife, TikTok influencer Emilie Kiser, was away with friends about 20 minutes from the residence.
According to the report, Brady was splitting his time between looking after his kids and watching Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics. Investigators said Trigg had been alone in the backyard for more than nine minutes.

Security footage showed him playing on an inflatable chair near the pool before slipping into the water at 6:32 p.m. Brady told authorities he found his son unresponsive at 6:39 p.m. and called 911 two minutes later.
