Alexis Gosselin makes rare appearance after brother Collin's heartbreaking message about being 'forced apart'
Alexis Gosselin made a rare appearance in one of her mother Kate's social media videos on Saturday.
It was the first time the 21-year-old had been seen since her brother Collin's heartbreaking claim about him and his siblings being 'forced apart.'
In the video, Kate, 50, who works as a nurse, was packing her meals for her 12-hour shift.
While the Kate plus Eight star was in her pink scrubs and talking to the camera, Alexis quietly walked up behind her to tell her goodbye.
After interrupting her story to give her daughter a hug, Kate told her, 'Ride carefully, and text me when you get there, please,'
Alexis could be heard replying, 'Love you.'
Alexis Gosselin, 21, made a rare appearance in one of her mom Kate's social media videos just days after her brother Collin made heartbreaking comments about him and his siblings being 'forced apart'
Kate has not made any comments since Collin's painful post on Thursday.
Sharing some throwback photos, the former reality star wrote, 'Forced apart, pitted against each other. All the fame and money in the world, but what about kids being kids?'
'I will always love them more than anything. The tears I shed behind closed doors, thinking about the memories we could've shared. I love you guys...'
Collin has been estranged from his mother for many years, but is still close to his dad Jon, 48.
Daily Mail has reached out to both Kate and Jon's reps for comment.
Last September, Collin alleged he had been the victim of horrific abuse by his mother, 'while having to be an animal in her circus on tv,' in an interview with The U.S. Sun.
The Gosselin family entered millions of households when they starred in their reality show Jon & Kate plus 8.
The couple were parents to twins Mady and Cara, 24, along with sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel, who turned 21 in May.
On Thursday, Collin, who, along wit Alexa is one of the sextuplets from the show Jon & Kate plus 8 clamed on social he he and his siblings had been' Forced apart, pitted against each other'
Kate shared photos from a birthday outing with Alexi, Aaden, Leah and Joel on social media writing, 'And just like that, they turned 21! Happy Birthday to my 6! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️'
After Jon and Kate divorced in 2009, the show carried on as Kate plus 8, airing from 2015 to 2016.
Collin told the Sun that Kate 'zip-tied his arms and legs and locked him in basement as a child' as punishment for his behavioral issues before institutionalizing him in 2016 at age 12.
Jon said he began to fight for sole custody of his son after he claimed a doctor told him that Collin did not have the issues Kate claimed he did in Vice's TV's Dark Side of the 2000s series.
Following a legal battle over the issue, Collin and sister Hannah went to live with their dad.
After seeing Kate's most recent video, fans were divided in their reactions to the allegations.
'You should be in jail for what you did to colin (sic),' wrote one. 'Still got that narcissistic vibe,' claimed another.
Others jumped to her defense. 'So happy to see you. I've always admired you and wondered if you were working as a nurse again,' said a fan.
'I don't care what anyone says about her … she did what she had to do to raise her kids. Maybe I wouldn't hang out with her but I respect her … screw the haters @kateplusmy8!'
