Stephen Miller corrects his wife's boss Elon Musk in ANOTHER intriguing tweet

Stephen Miller launched another intriguing tweet correcting Elon Musk, his wife's employer, shortly after touting his happy family life. 'The Big Beautiful Bill decreases total spending over the budget window by nearly $2 trillion,' the top adviser to President Donald Trump wrote on X Sunday. The tweet comes after an interview aired with Musk on CBS This Morning in which the Tesla founder admitted to differences with the administration. 'It's not like I agree with everything the administration does,' said Musk, who left his formal government role last week. He went on to express his disappointment with Trump's legislative blue print, saying it 'undermines the work' of his Department of Government Efficiency, which sought to make massive cuts to federal spending by cutting contracts, killing agencies and firing workers. The back-and-forth drama over government spending between the two men close to Trump has been amplified after Stephen's wife Katie Miller decided to follow Musk to the private sector amid his exit from the White House inner circle. Katie Miller, a prominent figure in Trump's first administration, was spokesperson for Musk's Department of Government Efficiency. Stephen Miller, who serves Deputy White House Chief of Staff, has never called out Musk by name in his tweets but his defense of the president's legislation is clear and the timing coincides with Musk's criticism of the bill. Other members of the Trump administration have been just as vocal in defending the 'big, beautiful bill.' DailyMail reached out to the White House for comment on the matter. Stephen and Katie Miller have been married for over five years. The couple met through their work in the first Trump administration. They married on February 16, 2020 at what was then Trump's hotel in Washington D.C. The president attended the event as did several prominent figures in Trump's first term, making it one of the social events of the year among the MAGA crowd. They have a daughter and two sons, whom they brought to the White House Easter Egg Roll in April. Stephen Miller touted their great family life in an interview with Lara Trump that aired Saturday on Fox News. 'This is the most family-friendly work environment. You can bring your kid to work any time you want,' he said of working in the White House. He also described President Trump as 'great with kids.' 'My daughter is always asking to see the president again…She's always desperate for any chance to get face time with the president,' he said. Miller did not, however, discuss Katie's new role with Elon Musk in the interview. But he did talk about how they met, when he was an adviser in the White House and she was spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security. 'When I first met her, she was the communications director at the Department of Homeland Security, so it's very on-brand, the relationship, because we were on conference calls every day on border security,' he said. Musk, meanwhile, formally left the Trump administration on Friday, holding court with the president in an Oval Office press conference. The Tesla founder sported a black eye during the event, which he said was the result of his son X punching him. But even before he departed the White House Musk made clear his disagreement with the 'big beautiful bill,' which is Trump's signature legislation that funds the government. Musk said he was 'disappointed to see the massive spending bill' because it increases the budget deficit and undermines DOGE. 'I was, like, disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, doesn't decrease it, and undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing,' he told CBS News. I said, 'I actually thought that, when this 'big, beautiful bill' came along, it'd be like, everything he's done on DOGE gets wiped out in the first year.' 'I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful,' Musk added with a laugh. 'But I don't know if it could be both. My personal opinion.' The legislation will add about $3.8 trillion to the federal government's $36.2 trillion in debt over the next decade, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. Musk has claimed to save the federal government billions through his DOGE efforts. He was designated a 'Special Government Employee,' which allows private sector figures to work for the federal government, but restricts them to 130 days per year. Katie Miller had the same designation so she also had to leave the administration or get an exemption to stay on board with Team Trump. She, instead, took a full time gig with Musk, handling press for him as he returns to his business interests, which took a hit during his controversial time with the government.

Katie Miller, Elon Musk, and Stephen: What's behind the buzz?

Rumours claiming Katie Miller, wife of senior Trump aide Stephen Miller, left him for billionaire Elon Musk have surfaced online after Musk's White House exit. However, official reports have indicated the claims as pure story spread like wildfire after Elon Musk showed up with a black eye during a press conference announcing he was leaving the Trump administration. Musk said the bruise came from playing with his son, X. But internet users think otherwise. They came up with a wild theory claiming that Trump aide Stephen Miller punched Musk because of a personal issue involving Miller's wife, Katie. Elon Musk appeared with a bruised eye.(Photo: AP) advertisementMore people speculated after news broke that Katie Miller was leaving her White House position to work full-time for Musk. She had been the spokesperson for Musk's federal agency, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). According to reports, she will join his private ventures. Katie Miller is a prominent figure in Washington, having earlier worked as communications director for Vice President Mike SPARKED THE RUMOURSThe timing of several events seems to have added fuel to the speculation. Musk had criticised President Donald Trump's $3.8 trillion "Big Beautiful Bill." It reportedly upset several Trump officials, including Stephen Miller. Musk said the bill went against everything DOGE had worked for and called it a very same day, it was announced that Katie Miller would be joining Musk's team full-time, working on media bookings and other tasks for Tesla and none of these developments prove anything about the personal relationship between Musk and Katie Miller. There are no official reports of a fall-out between Katie and Stephen Miller either. In fact, Stephen Miller appeared on Fox with Lara Trump, speaking about his family and his wife."When I first met her, she was the communications director at the Department of Homeland Security," he said. "So it's on-brand, the relationship, because we were on conference calls every day on border security."NO EVIDENCE OF AFFAIR OR CONFLICTDespite the viral claims on the internet, there's simply no confirmation that Katie Miller "left" her husband for Elon Musk. Musk himself has denied spending too much time on politics and says he's now focusing on his private ventures. "It's not like I left the companies. It was just relative time allocation that probably was a little too high on the government side," Musk InMust Watch

Stephen Miller describes Trump-heavy family life days after wife leaves administration to work with Musk

Stephen Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff for policy, has described his Trump- centric family life days after his wife left her administration post to work for Elon Musk. After discussing Trump's construction of the MAGA movement, his immigration stance, and Democrats' 'unsellable ideology,' Miller explained his personal ties to President Donald Trump in a softball Fox News interview with Lara Trump, the president's daughter-in-law. The Saturday evening interview comes days after his wife Katie Miller reportedly left her role as an adviser at the Department of Government Efficiency to work full-time for Musk, who once led the cost-cutting arm. It's unclear when the interview was recorded, and his wife's departure from the administration wasn't discussed. But Miller's appearance seemed to serve as a counter to any rumors that there's a rift between Musk and Trump. The world's richest person left DOGE after a turbulent few months taking a chainsaw to federal agencies; his 130-day special government employee status came to an end last week. The deputy chief of staff emphasized how large a role the president and his White House have played in his family life. Miller described meeting his wife during the first Trump administration. 'When I first met her, she was the communications director at the Department of Homeland Security, so it's very on-brand, the relationship, because we were on conference calls every day on border security.' The pair even got married at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, according to the New York Times. Miller is considered the architect of the controversial family separation policy in Trump's first term. His wife, then a spokesperson to Vice President Mike Pence, was sent to a child detention center at the southern border to make her more compassionate, but 'it didn't work," she told reporter Jacob Soboroff. Miller then told Lara Trump about his own children. Asked about whether his children have met Trump, Miller said he has a photo of his daughter with the president when she was just a newborn. He claimed: "My daughter is always asking to see the president again…She's always desperate for any chance to get face time with the president.' He added that the president is 'great with kids,' describing him as a 'kid magnet' and a 'child whisperer.' Under Trump, apparently, children are always welcome at the White House. 'This is the most family-friendly work environment. You can bring your kid to work any time you want,' he added. He's been in Trump's orbit for a decade, but to him, 'sometimes it only feels like it's been a year.'

Did Stephen Miller Punch Elon Musk? Wild Theories about Musk's Black Eye Surface after Katie Miller Quits White House to Work for Tesla CEO

Elon Musk made headlines on Friday as he appeared alongside Donald Trump in the Oval Office to bid farewell to the White House. However, it was Musk's black eye that caught the attention of most of the viewers, sparking a wave of speculation about he got the shiner, with the billionaire blaming it on playful roughhousing with his four-year-old son, X. However, online detectives were quick to suggest other possibilities, with some even floating the wild theory that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller was responsible for the bruise. This came as Miller's wife, Katie Miller, announced that she is leaving the Trump administration to join Musk's Tesla. Who Gave the Black Eye? Katie Miller announced that she will join Musk full-time and has also been posting regularly on X about Musk's private companies, as well as the cryptocurrency DOGE. Katie Miller, who holds a degree in public administration from George Washington University, previously worked as a special assistant to Trump and served as press secretary to then-Vice President Mike Pence during Trump's first term in office. Much like Musk, she was also a "Special Government Employee" during Trump's second term, a designation that limited her federal service to a maximum of 130 days. Katie, 34, married Stephen Miller in 2020 at the Trump Hotel in Washington, as her first stint at the White House came to an end—roughly two years after mutual friends introduced them. The couple also appear to align on immigration policy. At one point, Homeland Security sent Katie to check family separations at the border firsthand, reportedly in an effort to increase her empathy. However, according to a conversation Katie Miller had with journalist Jacob Soboroff for his 2020 bestseller Separated: Inside an American Tragedy, the move to make her more sympathetic by witnessing family separations "didn't work." As both Katie Miller and Musk step away from their respective roles, social media users have been speculating about the origin of Musk's black eye. Notably, some pointed out that the bruise was on Musk's right eye, while Stephen Miller is left-handed — fueling theories that Miller could have landed the blow with his left hand. Wild Theories Float Online Adding to the speculation, reports suggest lingering tension between Musk and Miller after Musk publicly criticized Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill," arguing it "undermines the efforts" of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The Congressional Budget Office estimated the bill would raise the national deficit by between $2.3 trillion and $3.8 trillion over the next ten years. One user on X posted, "Yoo did Elon Musk get straight up punched in the face? That's a left hook black eye if I've ever seen one. Might explain his delayed talk?" Another provocative post added fuel to the rumors, claiming, "This is a black eye delivered by someone who can't throw a punch," implying Stephen Miller may have been responsible. Some users also speculated that Miller was especially upset over his wife's departure from DOGE to join Musk full-time. Democrats, often short on media attention lately, quickly jumped into the conversation. The Democratic Party's official X account posted a photo of an empty hotel chair, tagging Stephen Miller in a playful reference to the swirling rumor gripping Washington. Multiple sources said that Katie Miller, a senior adviser and spokesperson for DOGE, is exiting the Trump administration along with Musk and will be joining his expanding business ventures on a full-time basis. While her exact position has not yet been announced, insiders suggest she will likely be involved in Musk's federal policy efforts and technology-related projects.

Dems Taunt Stephen Miller Over Wife Leaving with Musk

Democrats have little to be giddy about these days, but they took pleasure in taunting White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller as Elon Musk made his White House exit with Miller's wife at his side. The official X account of the Democrats had a spicy post on Friday where they simply tagged Stephen Miller's handle and included an image of an empty chair in a corner of what looked like a hotel room. The post retweeted the Daily Beast's report that Miller's wife, Katie, a DOGE adviser and spokesperson, was also on her way out of the Trump administration to work for the tech billionaire full time. .@StephenM: — Democrats (@TheDemocrats) May 30, 2025 As the world's richest person makes his departure, people across the internet have been all too happy to speculate over Musk and the Millers. The White House did not respond to the Daily Beast's inquiry about Miller's departure. Like Musk, Miller was also a 'Special Government Employee.' Such employees from the private sector are limited in how long they can work with the federal government to 130 days. Miller has been posting on X about Musk and DOGE, but also his private companies. On Friday, she was also spotted inside the Oval Office watching as Musk made some farewell remarks with the president. But Musk also got pushback from Miller's husband as he decided to criticize the president's 'big, beautiful bill' as a disappointment on his way out the door. Musk told CBS News in an interview this week that the massive legislation undermines the work of DOGE and balloons the deficit. Miller fired back in a lengthy X post where he argued the bill could not cut discretionary spending due to Senate rules. He also insisted the Congressional Budget Office was wrong that it increases the deficit, dismissing the analysis as an 'accounting gimmick.' Miller also praised the work of DOGE in a separate post, but the public pushback on Musk highlighted the MAGA rift just as Musk and his wife are headed out of the White House. Before working for the current administration, both Millers also worked in the first Trump administration, during which they met and married. Miller is one of several members of the DOGE team who head out with their leader as he steps away and focuses more time on his businesses. Musk's right-hand man, Steve Davis, is also departing, the White House confirmed.
