IGT Solutions Opens New Office in Egypt
Egypt's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Amr Talaat, has officially inaugurated the new office of IGT Solutions at Maadi Technology Park in Cairo. IGT Solutions is a global provider of digital and data-driven transformation services. The company is expanding its operations in Egypt as part of its strategic growth plan across key international markets. The opening ceremony was attended by Eng. Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA); Katie Stein, CEO of IGT Solutions; Mohamed Guemei, Managing Director of IGT Egypt; and senior representatives from the Ministry and ITIDA. Dr. Talaat stated that Egypt's outsourcing sector has grown rapidly in recent years. He shared that the number of global delivery centers in Egypt has tripled in the past three years, now exceeding 200. This growth is driven by efforts to expand local talent and attract foreign investment. He also highlighted the wide range of services now offered from Egypt. These include high-value engineering fields such as embedded systems, automotive software, semiconductor development, and electronics design. Eng. Ahmed El-Zaher noted that Egypt remains a preferred outsourcing destination. He pointed to cost efficiency, a skilled workforce, and strong infrastructure as key advantages. He added that ITIDA is committed to supporting companies like IGT Solutions in expanding their global footprint from Egypt. Katie Stein emphasized Egypt's potential for growth. She said the country provides a strong talent pipeline, multilingual capabilities, and a favorable business environment. She described the new office launch as an important step in delivering AI-powered, world-class outsourcing services to clients worldwide. Mohamed Guemei highlighted the strategic value of the expansion. He stated that IGT Solutions is focused on supporting digital transformation through innovative and smart outsourcing solutions. He also noted the positive impact of this investment on Egypt's digital economy and its growing role as a global outsourcing hub. IGT Solutions currently supports global clients across industries including travel, banking, fintech, technology, e-commerce, gaming, and the freelance economy. The company operates 31 delivery centers in 13 countries and employs over 25,000 experts. Services are delivered in more than 35 languages.
