KUWAIT CITY, July 15: Kazma Club has renewed the contract of standout handball goalkeeper Turki Al-Khalidi for another season, the club announced. Al-Khalidi, regarded as one of the top goalkeepers on the local scene, delivered an impressive performance last season with the team,' playing a key role in several critical matches. His consistent form prompted club management to secure his services for another year. As part of its strategy to ensure team stability and build on recent success, Kazma had earlier extended the contract of Serbian head coach Bozo Rodic, who will now continue into his third consecutive season with the team. Under Rodic's leadership, Kazma claimed the Super Cup title and finished third in the Premier League, capping off a strong campaign. In line with this continuity, the club has also renewed the contracts of Tunisian imports Anwar Ben Abdullah and Mohamed Farad for a third straight season, rewarding their standout performances over the past two years. Looking ahead to the 2025–2026 season, Kazma is planning an external training camp in Turkey from August 14 to 28. The camp will serve as preparation for the 40th Arab Handball Championship, which will be hosted by Kuwait Club from September 12 to 22. The tournament will feature local clubs Kazma, Sulaibikhat, and the host side, Kuwait SC ('the Whites'). During the camp, Kazma is scheduled to play several friendly matches to sharpen the squad's performance ahead of their Arab Championship campaign.

KUWAIT CITY, July 8: Kazma Club has officially renewed the contracts of team captain Nasser Al-Faraj and goalkeeper Faisal Al-Subaie for an additional season, as the club looks to rebuild and contend for domestic titles. Al-Faraj, who was sidelined by injury in recent seasons, made a strong comeback last year. His standout performances convinced the club's board to extend his contract and retain his leadership on the pitch. Kazma has scheduled the start of pre-season training for August 15, under the guidance of newly appointed Croatian coach Dragan Tadić, who replaces Bosnian coach Rosmir Sefko following the expiration of his contract in June. In a push to return to the domestic podium after several underwhelming seasons, Kazma has been active in the transfer market: Sultan Al-Enezi, a midfielder with experience at Al-Qadsiya, Al-Arabi, and Dhofar SC (Oman), has joined the squad. Bandar Al-Barazi, a standout from the Olympic team and formerly of Al-Nasr, has also been signed. Defender Badr Dhikrallah and striker Mishaal Al-Shammari have both renewed their contracts for another season. The club has also strengthened its foreign lineup with the addition of Jordanian duo Ali Al-Azaizeh and Youssef Bujazer, while renewing the contracts of Anas Al-Awadat (Jordan) and Samson Enekola (Nigeria). Meanwhile, the newly promoted Al-Shabab Club continues to build a competitive squad for the upcoming season. The club has signed goalkeeper Saud Al-Qanaei, who brings experience from stints with Al-Azraq, Al-Tadamon, Al-Arabi, Al-Salmiya, and Al-Yarmouk. Al-Shabab has also recently added Ahmed Ghazi, Mohammed Khalil, Yaqoub Al-Tararwah, Shaheen Al-Khamis, and Dhahi Al-Shammari to its roster.

KUWAIT: The semi-finals of the Kuwait Handball Federation Cup for the season (2024-2025) were completed with the qualification of the Kazma Club team at the expense of Sulaibikhat and Al-Qadisiyah's victory over Burgan. In the first match on Sunday, (Kazma) was able to overcome the obstacle (Sulaibikhat) with a score of (41-31). Kazma left no room for its opponent, which was showing strong levels recently, and took the lead in the first half of the game, which ended in its favor (21-14) to maintain its control over the game, achieving the victory that qualified it for the semi-finals. Kazma Club and Sulaibikhat Club For its part, (Al-Qadisiyah) reached the same round after eliminating the runner-up of the Premier League (Burgan) with a score of (30-28). Al-Qadisiyah appeared in a distinctive form and was able to impose itself from the beginning of the match, which ended the first half (15-12) to enter the second half with confidence, which translated their superiority in the match and succeeded in reaching the golden square. KUWAIT CITY, May 31: Kazma Club clinched the Futsal League title for the 2024-2025 sports season after a thrilling 3-3 draw with Kuwait Club in the decisive match of the final series at Yousef Al-Shaheen Hall at Kazma Club. The championship was decided in a best-of-three series. Kazma and Kuwait Club each secured a win in the first two matches—Kazma taking the opener 7-5, while Kuwait Club responded with a 6-5 victory in the second. With the series tied, Kazma claimed the title by topping the preliminary round standings, as the final match ended in a draw. The Secretary-General of the Kuwait Football Association, Dr. Saleh Al-Majroub, presented the league trophy to Kazma Club, with Kuwait SC finishing as runners-up and Al-Tadamon securing third place. The award ceremony was attended by Kazma Club Chairman Asaad Al-Banwan.

KUWAIT CITY, May 22: Saad Yaqoub, head coach of the Kazma Club volleyball team, confirmed that the recently concluded 2024-2025 season stands out as one of the most successful in the club's history. 'It was a tough season, but the commitment and hard work of the players across all age groups, along with the dedication of the technical and administrative staff, made the difference,' Yaqoub said. 'Thanks to the continued support from the club's management and the volleyball department, we achieved impressive results.' Kazma's U-10 team captured the league title under the guidance of coach Tari Al-Baghdadi and supervisor Mohammed Al-Ansari. The U-12 team also secured the league championship with coach Abdulrahman Kamal and administrator Abdullah Al-Muzayel leading the way. The U-14 team, coached by Mohammed Mabrouk and supervised by Hussein Al-Othman, won the Federation Cup and finished third in the league. The U-16 squad, under coach Makram Alimi and administrator Mohammed Al-Balushi, also claimed the Federation Cup and secured fourth place in the league. At the youth level, the U-19 team dominated by winning both the league and cup titles, thanks to coach Riyad Ghandri and administrator Mishaal Subaih. Meanwhile, the senior team won the Federation Championship under Brazilian coach Kakarotto and administrator Alaa Al-Ma'rouf. Yaqoub emphasized that the achievements of Kazma's volleyball teams were no coincidence. 'These results are the product of long-term planning, consistent support from the club's leadership, and the efforts of everyone involved in the volleyball department,' he added. 'They serve as motivation to aim even higher in the upcoming seasons.' Kazma Club's volleyball division is overseen by Walid Al-Yaqout, with Khaled Al-Bahouh serving as game director and Saad Yaqoub as technical director.
