Meanwhile, Monza capitalized on pretty much their only two chances of the game. Each goal coming from Inter mistakes in the build-up. However, it has to be said Mota and Keita Balde did fantastically well. Mota in the buildup to Birindelli's goal. But above all Keita Balde's finish, was top class. However, moments after Keita Balde doubled Monza's lead, Marko Arnautovic pulled one back. A very important goal before the half-time interval. The second half Inter started where they left off. Subsequently, Hakan Calhanoglu equalized in the 64th minute. It was the former AC Milan midfielder's 50th goal in the Serie A. Then, Inter continued to pile on the pressure. And in the 77th minute scored what became the match-winning goal. At first in looked like Lautaro Martinez scored the winner. However, the goal was adjuged to have been an owngoal. Giorgos Kyriakopoulos was noted down as the culprit. A fundamentally important goal and win. However, a hard-earned one. Not just for staging a comeback, but because Piotr Zielinski came off injured. And much, much more. So sit back, relax and join the INTERViews podcast boys as they break down the Inter Milan 3-2 win at home to Monza.

Ex Lazio & Monaco Star Pushing To Start In Inter Milan Vs Monza Serie A Showdown – Nerazzurri Owned Defender Could Also Get The Nod
Forward Keita Balde and defender Tomas Palacios are both pushing to start this evening's Serie A clash between Inter Milan and Monza. This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. Monza make the short trip to the San Siro to take on Inter Milan this evening. The Brianzoli will be desperate for points. They are currently rooted to the bottom of the Serie A table. Their form has simply failed to ignited throughout the season. Facing reigning champions Inter will hardly be a fixture that Monza welcome at this stage. However, at the same time, the Brianzoli have proven a tricky fixture for their Lombard rivals since coming up to Serie A in 2022. They got a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture in September. According to the Gazzetta, Inter could see a couple familiar faces in the Monza starting lineup. In attack, the newspaper predict, former Lazio, Monaco, Inter, and Sampdoria forward Keita Balde is pushing to start. The 29-year-old joined Monza during the January transfer window. The Brianzoli made him a key part of their efforts to bolster the squad for a tough relegation battle. Balde is a familiar face for Inter, having spent the 2018-19 season on loan with the club. Meanwhile, Balde worked with Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi at Lazio. He enjoyed some of his very best form playing at the Stadio Olimpico, as with Joaquin Correa who will start for Inter. And then, another January signing is also pushing to start for Monza. The Brianzoli signed Inter defender Tomas Palacios on loan during the January window. The Argentine joined to gain more regular playing time in Serie A after being a bit part player at Inter over the first half of the campaign. And according to the Gazzetta, Palacios could get the chance to impress against his parent club today.

Keita Balde: ‘Icardi and Wanda Nara are without a heart'
Keita Balde Diao has apologised to his ex-wife after confirming that he had an affair with Wanda Nara, who at the time was married to his Inter teammate Mauro Icardi. 'They are without a heart.' There had long been rumours of off the field issues involving Nara being behind the breakdown of Icardi's rapport with the squad and subsequent departure. The situation got back into the headlines last month when Icardi published an Instagram Story alleging his now ex-wife had cheated on him with Keita Balde. The couple broke up in October 2021 and got back together, but have now definitively separated and are locked in an increasingly ugly battle played out over the media. Now Keita Balde has broken his silence with an interview on Canale 5 show Verissimo, where he sent a video message for his ex-wife Simone Guatieri. 'Betrayal is a word that really burns. It was the biggest mistake of my life, betraying the love of my life,' said Keita Balde. 'She deserves all the love and respect in the world. I want to take on the full responsibility and leave this silence, because the problem is now affecting my family. 'Mauro and Wanda's public game is not part of my life. I am aware of the mistake that I made, I don't blame them entirely, but they know that there are children in this situation who are being affected. 'The way they dragged this all out shows they are without a heart. I felt terribly small after the mistakes I made, but I fight like a lion if my family is affected and I have taken legal action. 'Simona is the only woman I will ever love, for the rest of my life. I am here fighting for you.' Keita Balde and Simona Guatieri have two children together and both have taken legal action against Icardi and Nara. 'They cannot just put our private business into the public sphere for their own ends,' said Guatieri. 'We have a different morality to them. My husband fell into their trap, but kept it to himself. If my husband was to show what she had sent to him… we'd never hear the end of it. 'Icardi should concentrate on football, because this is a short career, he shouldn't get tied up in gossip.' While Icardi is currently at Galatasaray, Keita is now a free agent and is training with Monza for a potential return to Serie A. 'I had forgiven him because we'd only just got married, we had two very small children and I was honestly ashamed,' continued Guatieri. 'I had a chat with Mrs Nara. She was trying to get back into my husband's life. She didn't want me to think badly of her, but I was so angry I don't even remember the call. She denied it and said I ought to take it out on my husband instead.'
